BettyF and PhilippaJane I know exactly what you mean about 'borrowing' curtains. We've been married for 8 years and have always had borrowed curtains. But this time not, I've already bought the fabric and is slowly making the curtains. Our room and Keagans are finished. My neighbours jut have to have patience with me and my pregnant body.

Thanks Betty_F. We are going to George today. Will have a look at edgars and mr price, our truworths doesn't have maternity. This is why I am so looking forward to moving there, now we have to drive 30km just to go shopping!

Jay, going to have a peek at our new house today, but my sil says its got nice big bedrooms. I might even be able to have a baby room, as there is a part we can corner off with drywall for a office for dh. It will have a door to the outside. But ja, will see....

Tshepy- yay on the baby shower... So nice to get spoilt! And to get stuff for baby so that you can start preparing!

Esmari you have not gained much weight at all lucky for you. You should try get pants at edgars or truworths - they both have sales on at the moment. So you may get some cheep. I got a pair from edgars for R 45 the other day.

It's the big party this weekend, so today I make the infamous rocketship cake for Matthew, wish me luck.

Karien - sounds like the move went off very well and that you are settled. When we moved about 4 years ago, my mom lent me ugly old curtains as a tempory measure. They ended stain up for a few years. Eventually last year I replaced them. Hopefully you won't be stuck with the ugly curtains for too long.

Those are great books that you have. Another one which I used a lot was Sister Lilians baby care companion. I also got given Gina Ford, contented little baby, which helped a bit for routine- although I found some of her things way out.

I registered yesterday with moms uif assist so let's see how that goes.
