Guess what????? I have just been showered with a surprise baby shower here at work, I had so much much fun, I received a lot of gifts, Cosmetics,Toys,clothes,wipes and many-many more

I am in serious need of some maternity pants!

Karien - those are good foundation books - I would stick to a few good books rather 2nd trimester was definately my favourite, baby makes us so tired now hey? hee hee about no curtains.

Noelene - if you are going through a UIF company - the sooner the better it took me 2 good months to do everything, but it can be done in a week if you concentrate only on that.

Esmari - hee hee the coco pops, it amazing how the little things are really an irritation.

I'm about to buy What to Expect The First Year, and was wondering if anyone has any other recommendations for really good baby care books? I already have Babysense and Sleepsense and will buy the What to Expect, but it feels like I'm going to need more info than just 3 books can give me. I believe that with the right books and enough lists you can overcome just about any crisis

It's so quiet on here. I've been reading but not posting, so I'll go about 2 pages back for personals.

Rakker, love love the bump. And its interesting how it looks so much bigger from the front.

BettyF, I also wake up early in the morning after toilet breaks and can't fall asleep until DH's alarm go off - then suddenly I'm fall into a deep sleep - luckily I only need to get up at 7:30.

Thanks for the info on the pads and panties everyone - I'll visit babyboom soon and stock up on some. I've started wearing everyday pads because of all the extra moisture 'down there'. I hate wearing pads, but I must say it's more comfortable than not wearing any.

Solo, glad its going better with BF and so glad for all the goodies you received! People really are generous when you're pregnant. It's great

AFM: So we're in our new house and most of the stuff has been packed away, although we still have to buy a couple of bookcases to store all our books. And I'm not finished yet with the curtains so we're using old ugly ones for now. And we're living in a complex and don't have net curtains up yet either (shock!horror!) But I've decided I'll let people see me during the day, than live in a house with drawn curtains.

We got our second hand cot - it's 40 years old - and it is just absolutely perfect!!!! DH has to sand and varnish it this weekend and then I'll put up some pictures.

I'm suddenly so uncomfortable and feel so big. And I get back pain, pubic bone pain and hip pain....I guess it's my 'Welcome to the third trimester' present

Didn't I just get out of bed after a full night sleep? Then why am I so tired...... Yawn!

Wow, in a weeks time my lg will be 5y old! Growing up so fast! And man, has she got an attitude on her! And soon she wont be the youngest anymore!

Weighed myself again this morning. Still standing below 4kg. Only picked up 3.8kg up to today.

Ok, I must probably go make beds or something...
