Thinking of you Esmari, i do hope you are through and baby is fine now. @NikNaks i hope this clears you cant afford Mastitis. THe headaches seems to be there and since i went to the Public Maternity Hospital, their liability ended after 7 days so i have to go to another Public Hospital. I have decided to sit it out but tonight i managed to go on and on without pain medicine and hopefully its coming to an end but am back on pain meds.

Niknaks - I had a blocked duct - it was insanely painful!!! The lactation consultant suggested a hot hot face cloth over the boob and olive oil on the nipple and pump or let baby feed on that side first!

Sorry about the going back to work - it does suck!!!

Jack is still feeding every 2 hours - its exhausting. But seems calmer than he was yesterday!!! So heres hoping it passes soon!!

MsDee I also don't trust the monitors hehe! How did it go? Apparently you and the baby both sleep better if you're in your own rooms? Both babies were in their own rooms from day one, but I remember with kaitlyn how heartsore I was. DH wanted to know NOTHING about having her in our room, so I didn't even want to leave her cotside! I kept thinking she was going to stop breathing, especially after NICU. With Nicole, it was a bit easier - also NICU, but I wasn't paranoid this time. I put her down in her room and "trusted the monitor" (which automatically switched itself off on the first night, would you believe!).

Thamu, have you had your headache checked out? I am not sure if they can really do much, but i think it is well worth letting your gynae know, so that the anaesthetist can also be informed.

Laurakim, days where they want to feed every 2 hours drive me totally dilly! Luckily it doesn't happen often so hang in there!

TaNasha - soon, soon! Don't be bored, do things now you won't be able to once baby is here! I could give you a list hehehehe

AFM, we took Nicole for her 6 week checkup last week and paed is happy with her but said she is not picking up enough weight so has put her on Lactogen during the night (2 bottles), further I can still breastfeed her luckily. Also prescribed Eglonyl, which I really didn't want to take, but *sigh*... So now for the past 3 days I have had pain in my right breast. Yesterday I realised that it is a blocked duct! For the 3rd time! last night it was the size of a tennis ball, so I'm really hoping it resolves itself, otherwise it's off to the doctor for antibiotics or to the physiotherapist for ultrasound. I do NOT want mastitis!

Other than that, going back to school on Monday So unfair, but I need the money. Luckily it;s only 3 hours a day, 3 times a week.

Morning

Thanx for all the well wishes. Stress has kicked in! Feeling like a sheep on the way to the slaughter house. Or rather an ox! Hehe! I hope everything works out as I would like it to be! Perfect! I am already missing my other 2 kids! I am so emotional, just want to cry!

Anyway. Dh will put pics on fb. If I cant come update here, I wont mind if one of you could?
