MsDee I will definitely post the 4d scan pics on the 28th, those will be my first clearer pics as I also think my gyne is using an old machine,Solo in regard to specifying whether you are going Natural or Elective CSec when you book my gyne advised me to say I am going natural, he said something about medical aid questioning so I said I am going natural.

Esmari hun, your post isn't selfish It's perfectly understandable to want a natural birth especially now with your third. What are your chances of a VBAC? Do you research and ask, ask, ask questions until you are satisfied.

TaNasha YAY!!!! I first felt flutters and bubbles two weeks ago, but I wasn't sure, then last week i was sure! This week I can feel baba moving all the time, it's such an incredible feeling! When I get home from work and lie down on the couch he really starts going mad in there! I just want to lie and savour every moment I feel him throughout the day though, but it's stronger when I stop and lie down.

Esmari - glad your hand is feeling better.

Meags - you have to be kidding!!!! Now I'm really scared. I just lost a whack of weight before I fell pg and it took me nine months...now another 'nine months' to pick it all up again? Hectic!! I can't go there..... I don't mind the baby weight and extra blood and fluid weight etc, but I can't do the extra body fat weight. Ugh.

How do you only pick up 4 kgs - Ertjie!!! Sooo not fair I think I shall sulk Wonderful news about baba 1.3kgs - fantastic!!!

Betty_F I think my gynae has an old machine as well, as my scans all look very boring and uninteresting - very poor quality. And not a hope of a 3D from him - haha. I saw on the internet yesterday that I get a 3D scan from the hospital when I book my bed. Ladies do you know if you have to specify whether you are going Natural or Elective CSec when you book?

AFM - I'm huge! I have suddenly become very large and drawstring pants that were sooooo comfy last week are now too small. I feel like a beached whale and I'm only halfway. I still can't believe that I am actually pregnant and I'm having panic thoughts!! I just can't see myself as a mother... But then he kicks me and it becomes even more real and I know that I just have to cope. So I put on my big girl panties and get on with it

Just watched 'one born every minute' on reality channel.

And....

I WANT A NATURAL BIRTH! And I want it bad! I feel so cheeted!

With my son my water broke at 38wsomething just after 11pm on the sunday, went to hospital, then my contractions started. Was very slow up to 3cm, but then I went from 3cm to 8cm in 1h, and they said only one more hour. But shortly after I was rushed in for a emergency c-section. His heartbeat only about 60. I was shattered.

With my lg I wanted a vbac, was wasn't given enouth info or support, so I ended up scheduling a repeat section.

However, at 35w I went into preterm labour, and ended up with another emergency section. Again I went into spontanius labour, and I was dialating. They never even said I can push.

Is it weird that I just want to push?

Been up since 2:00 am. I forgot to switch off my phone and was woken up by an e-mail. Never managed to fall back asleep I suspect my body has also had too much rest, I'm forever lying in bed, my sides are even sore I haven't excersised in weeks, not even yoga. Hubby's coming home tomorrow

Esmari, i started from about 58.6 kgs, add 10 and you have my current weight at least that's what i weighed on sunday & i am not getting on that scale again. I refuse.

TaNasha, the flutters are beautiful and Esmari & ertjie1 are right, soon you'll be feeling movements all the time. When i lay back i can actually see his movement, i first noticed it on tuesday. So yesterday i spent an hour just poking and getting up and laying back just so he would move around. The feeling is indescribable...

Tshepy you must come let us know how your 4d scan went once you've had it. Don't be a stranger

esmari - I guess I am also lucky, because i tend to pick up weight very easy!! Hope the cold gets better - ACC200 is also safe to drink during pregnancy.
They grow so fast, baby pick up 700g from the last visit, 4 weeks ago!

tanasha - the flutters is amazing, but the kicks are even more amazing (I sometimes poke baby just to feel the kicks)

karienh - that photo is so cute - chubby cheeks!

afm. I got the letter from hospital yesterday to say that my bed is booked and looking forward for me to join them (well I hope at least not for the next 12 weeks)
