Hi ladies, sorry no personals, but eskom stole our power until 2 today, and my cell battery only half.

Hand ok today. Still burns a bit, and is red. But only a small part is still sore! The burnshield and germolene burnt so much, I washed it off, and put freeze on(aftersun)! It took the burn away, and cooled my hand! I would really recommend it with minor burns! No blisters at all!

I see you talking about weight gain, I am 17w, and just put on 3kg so far!

I'm so glad everybody is being honest about what they've gained so far. I gained about 7kg in the first 2 months because I was so hungry all the time, but since then I've gained only about 5 - BUT that's 12kg already. I'm going to see the dr this afternoon and then I'll know if I've gained even more. It really bothered me in the beginning, but I've made peace with it, and I try to eat healthily. Unfortunately, I'm also craving anything sweet and esp. softserve.

Congrats on everyone's boys and girls - it's getting exciting now that everyone is finding out what they're having.

We're painting our new place before we move in and it's been really frustrating not to be able to do many of the things. Can't even wash the walls because my stomach just starts feeling funny from all the reaching up and bending down. But then my boy kicks me and I see my beautiful bump and I know it's all worth it.

Esmari, hope your hand is fine. I've had some really bad burns that Gemolene healed within hours - not without pain though! So hoped it worked for you too.

MsDee - 100 days, can't believe it! It's so close and actually so far. I have to say time seems to be slowing down a little bit.

AFM: I'm past 24 weeks and according to the websites if I go into labout now they'll do everything they can to save my boy I like the idea that he has a fighting chance now.

I've just realised last night that soon I'm going to be responsible for another person - I'm going to have to decide if he's warm enough, too warm or cold. Eek! Nevermind teaching him to be a good person, right now I'm freaked out about the idea of putting a blanket on or taking it off.

Betty_F don't let work get to you too much. I know, I know, work stress is unavoidable, but its not fair that we have to get so stressed when we are pregnant. Talking about weight gain I read sometime that one woman didn't pick up anything until her third tri and then piled on 15kg. Yikes. If i pick up a further 15kg on top of the ten I think I shall have breakdown

TaNasha how did your scans go? Wow, 3d and 4d - must have been amazing.

I'm going to start making enquiries for childbirth classes today. Are they all the same? Or should I be more specific in what I am looking for?

Eskom problems here. Power been on and off for the last while. Work is stressing me out. But I did get a new pc yesterday which should help.

Ms Dee- only 100 days! I also ate way too much yesterday.... The one time in your life that you can gain weight? Everyone gains weight differently. 1 st baba. I gained 18 also struggled to loose it. This time have gained 5 so far although. Last time I gained most in the last trimester as that was when I was least mobile.

Esmari- hope you jade gets better. Must had been bad that you had to put burnshield on.

Philipajane - great bump! Growing nicely...

TaNasha- how did the scan go? Did you get some nice pics? It's always so nice to see them growing...

Not looking forward to work today! Would rather stay home with my feet up. Well only 2 more months for me.......
