Philipajane, you should deffinitely eat what you always eat. It is all about moderation. One interesting reason for this is so that she can get used to the type of food her family eats. They say if you often eat hot food, carry on as this is what she will have to eat in the end. We don't eat onions or garlic (DH doesn't like it) and we hardly ever eat cabbage (even though I love it) and still my LG has a lot of gas escaping downstairs, LOL. And I know with her it is not due to the usual culprits.
Your LG has to learn how to deal with wind/gas in any case, so go back to your normal food. You also need to eat more proteine (not found in your juice diet) to help with her muscle development (which contributes a lot to weight gain). I also hate it when people assume that if a baby pulls a face or cries that it is wind. My LG really doesn't have wind/digestion issues, but my brother in law will always hold her tummy down on his arm and she hates that position.
