Tanasha, I have no idea how much after vaginal, but after my section I didn't realy bleed alot. I used 1 pad during the day, and one at night. I only bled for about 2 weeks, ever since I just have some blood stained discharge.

Hey all, looks like we are all very busy with our babas!

Gerhardt is gaining weight like a pro! He was 4.17kg on saturday. Can you believe that he will be one month this week....

Seems like we have thrush! He has some white spots in his mouth, and nappy rash! And my nipples are in so much pain! Got some gycerin for him, and I am washing my nipples with bicarb. The sister also gave me nipple shields, but he doesn't get enouth milk through them. And I have to give my nipples some rest inbetween. Ai.......

anyway, goodbuy for now.

I typed this massive long post and then clicked "cancel". STUPID me!

hi ladies, weird question but how much blood should i be loosing? I am not bleeding alot at all? I expected so much more, is this normal?

Long time no chat! Gosh, life is so hectic at the moment - for the first few weeks after Mia's birth I was just living off coffee! Coping with a newborn and a toddler really is tough, but it's getting easier now...

My son had a bad cold last week so we took him to the doctor, his much better now but sadly it seems my daughter has now caught his germ...and with her only being 5weeks old we can't take precautions so we need to go to the doc with her tomorrow..I feel so bad for her, she has a really,really bad cough and is really struggling with the phlegm on her chest..I wish i could just click my fingers and make her well again!

Anyways, congrats to everyone who have given birth since I've last chatted- now the fun part starts Got to run...Mia'a crying so that means its booby time!

MsDee - it does get better. We have a tigo sling/wrap and it frees up my hands a lot so I can at least make and drink some tea

Ladies! why oh why did k=no onr tellmme that i wouln't have tme to do ANYTHING after vmy boy was born!

I want to go back and ready all the entrie si missed then i'll do a mproper updatae.

Hi ladies,

Just quickly popping in.

I am finally part of the mommy club! I have posted my birth story in the birth story section.

We are both doing well and we're finally home. Esmé is gorgeous, the cleft lip is not as bad as I though it would be and I offcourse think she is the most beautiful girl in the world! Unfortunatly her palate is also affected, so feeding is abit difficult but we are getting the hang of it. I am not breastfeeding though, I expressed while I was still in hospital but at the moment it takes about an hour to feed her with her special bottle and if I would still be expressing I would be busy with only feeding and expressing all day, so we have switched to forumal. I feel abit guilty but at least this way I wont be stressed and it gives me more time to enjoy her.
