Hi Ladies.

It are I, CandiBez, my profile got "hacked" so i've got to start fresh again. WHoop WHoop.

Wasn't a good day yesterday.

Actually it was the worse day ever.

A family member of mine was admitted to Tygerberg hospital.
He isn't doing well at all. And I was asked to take through some stuff for him. I'm still scared by the image in my mind. I think I cried for about 4 hours. Got such a headache at the moment.

But I could feel my little Peaches wasn't taking it well either, she definitely felt what I was feeling.

Gosh. I actually don't know what to say, besides, "Somethings you may have, can be taken from you any minute, cherish your family, no matter the relationship good or bad, and always end your conversations with 'I love you'..."

Will end on a happy note, saw my mom yesterday, and it was awesome to see her. And I eat two whole meals yesterday. [Emotion eating maybe] But it was yummy.

Hey everyone,

Hope you're all doing well.
My appointment at the gynae was great on Monday. I would definitely recommend him (Dr Frikkie Smit, at Louis Leipoldt), you should maybe try him CandiBez, he's very fun and jokes alot.

I think the only thing I was disappointed about was the pictures that got printed, he gave us the one measuring the heartbeat (which we're happy to have), but the baby's back is facing, so it's looks like a teeny blob, and we saw much nicer angles on the screen with tiny hands and feet and arms and legs, where it actually looked like a little person. So I've now booked an appointment at peek-a-babe (for 2 weeks from Saturday), so I can get more pictures, hopefully nicer ones so I can show the family and keep them for the baby album, and also I'll be 15 weeks then, so hopefully they can tell me the sex of the baby (which I'm convinced it's a girl, as is the rest of my family).

I would like a boy and a girl, so either is fine for our first child, but I would just like to know what it is, so I can stop saying "IT".

Hello ladies, just popping in to say hi quickly. Not at work today, me and baby are 100%, spending the day with my mom, first time I'm seeing her since I fell preggies . Been an awesome day, been telling her all about all of the lovely ladies here

Thanks for the advice ankia. Had heard that so am planning on using disposables at first. My mom has already bought me a pack of eco-disposables. Wonder how well they work...?

Annika - very exciting to be getting stuff from your friend
A friend of mine is also giving me a whole lot of things....including a sleigh cot and a camping cot! Can't wait to have a look at them...

As huggies gold and then I also like cuddlers???

Skai----i see most moms start using cloth nappies my sister is also using them.....its true I would also say for the first week or two use nappies...

I've got a friend that is giving me a car seat and a nice walkring....she said I should come get it tonight I'm so excited can't wait.....

Skai, I just want to warn you, the first poo and the first few days are those black sticky poo, and I have learned my lesson, it does stain the nappies, that is why i do recommend use disposables for a week or so, if you want too.
