I also struggle sometime to breath.
I am 10 weeks, so we not that far apart, I even think I am the last in this group

Laliek, I also want to see my babe every 4 weeks, but medical aid only pays for 2 scans, and I will ahve 4 in total, so that works out perfect.

You see the midwife every 4 weeks from 24 weeks and then every 2 weeks from 30 weeks (i think) and then every week from 36 weeks

Laliek, lovely hearing from you. So thrilled that you felt movement already. I thought i also felt movement last week but everyone says its too early. It was like popping popcorn. Have not felt that sensation again.

Ankies yes I know but I want to see baba every 4 weeks I know I can do scan with Maryke at Genesis so I'll just see how everything goes. It's only 4 more visits in any case then with gynae as I'll see the midwifes now and then probably again in 2 months (think they said 16w and 24w and then not sure how often thereafter?)

Hi Ladies Can i join your group for a while it looks like i'm the only October mom at the moment and Feel very lonely

I'm 8 weeks 1 day today. Had my first scan on saturday bean was 1 cm Moving Gynae's to the hosiptal i wanna delivery at. Booked my next scan for the 24 March. Cant wait to see how much been has grown.

And can i ask a question? Have any of you been stuggling to breath. It feels like i'm not getting oxygen.

The only other scan that is important is the 20 week scan and you gynie can still do that, and then you can see the back up gynie at 34 weeks and Genesis.

I can not wait to hear what you think of the Growth Spurt Group Midwifes, they are great.

Tracey and Annika - I haven't been around much lately but your new hey? Well welcome

How are all the preggy fairies doing?

I'm doing well on this side, things at work is much quieter today at least. I'm now officially a maternity pants wearer - my old pants except for 1 and my denim don't fit anymore. It's amazing how you grow in just a few weeks. Luckily the ones my mom made fits quite nicely and you can't see it's maternity. So this weekend I have to go buy casual clothes and some tops for work!

Girls - I felt movement last night!!! Amazing!! It felt like a mix between butterflies and bubbles bursting - so nice!

I have my scan next week on Monday afternoon - hoping baba flashes that we know what he/she is so that I can start shopping for baby room and clothes whoohoo! I have enough neutrals now already.

I'm also going to meet my midwife on 02 March - looking forward to that. I think i'll stay with my current gynae until about 30 weeks but will also see the midwife in between and then from 30 weeks just stay with midwife and for 34 weeks see their gynaes that's supported by Genesis. But ag we'll see how it goes!
