Hapi glad your doing well! Luckily this week doesn't come off my maternity or annual leave - my boss said to me I can stay at home this week and do bits and pieces. My actual actual maternity leave starts end of this week. I'm very lucky actually!

Hi there ladies

Hope all is going well with the preggie fairies?

So it's first day at home and I'm enjoying it so far. I still have some admin and a file or three to review during the week + a consolidation on one of the clients to do but I'm doing it all from home so I'm pretty relaxed. It's probably about 2 full days work so I'm taking my time on it lol.

Feeling much more relaxed, just getting dreams every night now of C being born, only 10 more days to wait then we meet our little boy! Hapi you have only 7 to go?

Tanasha how's the bding going lol?

Ankia I know how you feel - I feel like a sluggish whale! Our room is basically finished, they're clearing up the rubble today outside, tomorrow they'll finish the plaster on the one wall on the inside and then the tiler will be here Wednesday to tile so by the weekend my hubby can start painting everything whoohoo~! At least the inside will be done by time C arrives. I went this weekend to go buy fabric for our curtains, got some nice suede ones at Chamdor Factory, but it was about an hour of walking and I was pooped after that!! DH and I will have to go during the week to go pick out furniture as I haven't done that yet.

Oh and Wednesday is pamper day for me whoohoo! Going to get my hair cut (nothing drastic just ends) and going for a pedicure before C arrives - looking forward to it!

I'll pop in again during week - why is it so quiet in here?

Good Morning

I hope every one had a great weekend
Hapi & laliek - enjoy your maternity leave - whoohoo

I am doing fine, was very relaxed this weekend, but I can not walk long for long anymore - stomach cramps and I have to rest and it takes a while to go away.

Have a great day

Good Morning

TaNasha - I second what Skai said, William only engaged on the day of labour, I was check that same morning and he was not engaged yet, William was born in less than 24 hours after that check up.
And too much fluid is no worries
How much did she weigh??

I am doing fine, today is 9 weeks before I start maternity leave - I am in the single digits - whoohoo

Have a great day

Hi TaNasha - I just had to pop on to say that it's weird your MW said that about a 1st time baby not engaging! Some babies don't engage until you are already in labour and plenty only engage shortly before labour starts...so I really wouldn't let that worry you! And too much fluid is not nearly as serious as too little fluid as far as I know...so as long as they're keeping an eye on it you'll be fine! :)

Fyi - my friend who just had the 4.25kg baby said the contractions etc were totally managable and her baby was also not engaged until just before labour! She was in labour for 48 hours and then when she got to the pushing stage she could just feel something was not quite right. Baby wasn't tucking his head and just couldn't get born that way so she ended up with a c-sec. But it had nothing to do with baby's size (and she herself is very petite!) You are going to do great when the day comes (which I know you are hoping is sooner rather than later ;) )
