hi guys! hope you've all had a good weekend!

TaNasha - congrats on your anniversary! Hope you did something special!

Laliek - glad you are feeling better! And yippee for only one more week of work!

BoB - as Laliek said, keep an eye on your runny tummy...don't want it turning serious. All these little bubs need to stay put as long as possible!

Sunette - great that the cot has arrived...I'm sure it'll inspire you to get going with the other stuff...

Afm, I had my baby shower today and it was amazing! Was spoilt absolutely rotten...my husbands face was priceless when he saw how full the car was when I got home! And the weather was beautiful and I got to spend the afternoon with so many important women in my life...just fabulous!

AND, to top it all off, my best friend had her baby this evening! I was the only one who knew she was in labour as of yesterday so had to make up an excuse as to why she couldn't make it to my baby shower ;) Can't wait to meet her little boy (was a surprise but I guessed correctly...ha ha)

So all in all, a good weekend!

Now I must try and get some sleep...my brain is just too active still though! Shew...

Chat soon. Xx

Oh and to the ladies who's still looking to buy pj's for your hospital stay, I got some nice button shirt and pants pj sets at Mr Price for R99 each, and they are comfy. The woollies shirts I bought has buttons in front but doesn't open so it won't work for breastfeeding in hospital! Had to go buy new ones and these work really well, bought 4 pairs so I'm all kitted out and good to go. Now Cameron can come if he wants :)

Hi there ladies!

Hope all had a good weekend.

Hapi - I feel your pain, also getting very heavy and sore now and I just don't want to get up anymore. I really enjoyed being able to lie in in these 3 days I was booked off!

Skai - saw you had your babyshower! Hope you got spoilt rotten :)

Tanasha - yay on 37 weeks! Almost there and hope the self induction works!

BOB - you should be careful with a runny tummy hun. I had it for a while and then it got worse and thought it's normal for pregnancy and my doc said nope it's not normal. Very dangerous - so please keep an eye on it! Get some rehidrat to restore electrolites, drink lots of water and try eat some bananas to settle it a bit. If it gets worse pls go see doc.

Candi, Ankia, Sinderella, Tracy, Naz and rest of girls - how you all doing?

AFM: looks like I have the gastro under control at least but I have no energy left. This is my last week at work and next week I'm basically off and will catch up on some admin for work from home! I cannot wait for this week to fly by - I am so tired now and getting really uncomfortable as this little boy is getting heavier by the day. I'm just so frustrated at the moment, we're building an enclosed patio onto our tv room and it will serve as a dining room basically - but it's taking forever!!! I want to start spring cleaning the house, I can feel the nesting kicking in but I can't do anything with the dust until that's done. I warned my DH there will be war if the darn thing is not done before I bring Cameron home. I'm just hoping it's done by weekend of 23rd so I still have time to clean!

Anycase, have training tomorrow morning and Tuesday and also going for a team lunch tomorrow afternoon, so luckily my week should be nice and quiet before I finish on Friday - let's hope so at least!

Hi ladies!

Any exciting plans for the weekend?

I am 37 weeks tomorrow, woohoo! So my self induction will be starting then! I am so ready for this baby to come. BUt I have a feeling that she is going to keep us waiting for a very long time. Guess she will only come once she is good and ready, but it cant hurt giving her a little push!

Its also our 3 year wedding aniversary tomorrow and we have no plans yet, I will try to come up with something to do today. It will hopefully be our last big date with just the 2 of us, so I want to try to plan something special :)

Morning ladies!

Firstly, thank you to Skai, Tracey and CandiBez for the get-together on Sunday. Was so nice to be able to put a face to a name and a name to a forum name :)

Good to hear that everyone is doing well - even though we are all starting to hit the less comfortable phase.

On my side it is going well. Saw my obgyn Monday (at 30w2d) and according to him we are in for a big baby. Although I know that their measurements are not necessarily accurate, our little one was over 1.8kg already and all other measurements came in around 31w6d - almost 2weeks ahead! And he also confirmed my suspicion that the baby has turned and is now lying head down - at least that confirms why I had this weird bump for a few days  I also did my pre-admission at the hospital and booked the maternity ward tour for next week Wednesday - it is all happening!!

Other news is that my cot arrived from Mosselbay on Wednesday, this is officially the first big baby item that I can tick off my list. Hopefully this is the push I need to get myself more organised. I am currently busy with a "gift list" to go with the invite to my baby shower which a friend is arranging for end of July - it feels a bit weird to be "asking" for certain things, but I guess that is better than receiving things you have already.

Well, that is me for today, will check in again soon :)

Have a warm weekend with your babas!

Sunette
