Oh my word Laliek....not another one! What is it with these baba's that just want to make an early entrance!!? So was it not actually contractions? Just a constant pain? Glad you are feeling better today but definitely stay in bed! It really is a crazy thought that some of us may well be holding our LO's so soon....I don't feel anywhere near ready so hopefully this little guy stays put! Rest up and you'll also be in my thoughts!

Bob - you are in my thoughts and prayers and I really do pray the little man stays put!! Please please please take it easy and stay in hospital for as long as you can. Take care of yourself and him hun. I'm sure you'll be fine!

Hi to the rest of the ladies!

Just quickly popping in to say hi. I'm at home on bedrest since yesterday! Started getting cramps and pains on Wednesday and yesterday I couldn't walk. It felt like a really really intense period pain that stretches from my back over to the front and it got worse during the day. Phoned doc and he told me to go in to hospital to go get check up as he was also on his way to theathre. Anyway got there, they did stress test, tested my urine and it all was ok but this flippen pain just didn't want to go away! It wasn't like last time when I had the spasm, it was much worse and the nurse said it's definitely not braxton hicks or round ligament pain. So anyway, I was sent home and nurse spoke to doc over the phone and I was told to rest rest rest. So here I am today, feeling alot better at least but still in bed taking it easy. Must say though we had quite a fright!

Actually made me realise how close we are to due date and I decided yesterday I'm definitely getting my hospital bag finished this Sunday as well as baby goodies and room! Don't want to take any chances.

Ankia - I think I read on another thread a while ago that the stitch can only be put on before a certain time so I think it's too late for that.

BoB - every day he stays put in there is a good thing - so glad your doc insisted you stay put!

Thabk you all for the wonderful words of encouragement,
I really appreciate it, babatjie was behaving so nicely yesterday,
No contractions and I was startin to feel good and hoped that I
Could go home, but my dr disagreed and sed I needed a few more days
As I have a weak cervex and he didn't want to risk anything, smart man,
Cos this mornin at abt 4 am the contractions again, they are starting me wit
Another round of meds and looks like ile be out of it for a few hours.

All I've been doin is prayin and talkin to the little  and telling him to pls
Stay put, its nice n warm in mummys tumm.

ha ha Candy - I think we'll all get nice toned arms once LO's arrive - my arms get tired just holding other peoples baby's after a while And I'm in CT - Southern Suburbs.

I've only had backache once or twice so far and then I just use a happy hugger or hot water bottle. Does the trick for me. What sort of cramps are you getting? Are they not braxton hicks maybe? I've been getting them from 16 weeks - feel like a cramp but not sore...
