She did an internal scan.

She picked up what looked like 2 sacs. The one was to the left of the other one. She then changed something to look at the blood flow and then went back and focused on just the one (and measured the baby)

When I left, she told me to go and have various blood tests but still didnt say if there is more than 1 but said she can check again at my next visit

I am left a little in the air at the moment as according to her (she picked up what looked like a 2nd sac) my high HCG levels raise a flag of multiples as well as twins and triplets run in my husband and my family.

So i am a little in the dark at the moment, and will have to see when i go in 2 weeks time

My Scan pics don't say anything about TwinA on it. Your gyne surely would have pointed out two sacs or two yolk sacs if it were twins?

I wish my Gynae would have told me the heartrate of the baby. At the time when i went for my scan she just measured it at 6 weeks and 2 days.

Oh by the way. On the bottom of a scan. If it say TWIN A is that showing more than 1 ?

Scan went well. Scan puts me at 6 weeks 1 day. Heartrate good 119bpm which is good for this stage. Couldn't really see much but I could see the heart beating furiously. I must rememebr to take a CD with next time to put the scan pics on CD so I can post them.

@ Stacey - I have no energy at all. I literally have nap times at my desk most of the days and when i get home, DH and I try take walks to get some exercise during the week.

@ Barbara - Welcome to moomies and congrats on the little one. Do let us know if it is a boy or girl. I am just over 7 weeks and going for my next scan/check up when I am 9 weeks and about 4 days.

With regards to MS. I was chatting to my mom last night and said I was so worried that everyone else around me is getting MS but I wasnt. (ok i am not complaining) but was a little concerned. Anyhoo, unbeknown to me, she said she never suffered MS with me or my 2 brothers (can this type of thing be genetic)?

@2KM - You must be excited and looking forward to your next scan..
