Mandri, no I didn't know you even get effervescent panados LOL. I suffer from terrible headaches & migraines overall & only used to the strong stuff
I will definitely go to dischem & get some.

I spoke to one of the sisters at my gynae's office & she said there is obviously nothing else I can drink except panado - which I knew & the cause of it is the progesterone which is part of pregnancy. It is just hectic cause I never suffered like this with my 1st pregnancy but I will just have to deal with it.

mosaneo, thanks for the compliment I'm also slowly feeling movement but not every day & only one tiny kick & that's it. My gynae said that you only really start feeling movements when baby reaches 200g in weight. Atleast on the scan I can see that he is a very active baby so I'm not worried at all.

mosaneo & Mandri, don't worry about your tummies take look smaller at times, mine does the same. Remember, your digestive track slows down during pregnancy so that all the necessary nutrients can get to your baby & that is why your tummy looks so big after you ate. Mine always look bigger at night than in the morning

mosaneo - my tummy too!!!! So weird! Spoke to a friend this morning and she said hers also did it. Will post a pic from last night and this morning. Last night I looked about 6 months pregnant!

I had a great weekend, my man finished paying lobola for me, took me to a spa on sunday and we went to pick up our Discovery Vitality bag and it has such cute things, i cant wait to find out what i am carrying so i can start shopping.

Who is feeling their baby move? i think i can feel mine at times, my tummy is sometimes big and at times small which worries me. Cant wait to go to the fynae 27/07 to see that all is well with my baby.

i get hectic cramps, sore abdomin cramps that i am just hoping that are part of the second trimester pains.

Momtoc, congrats on the baby boy! Your dh must be so excited? If being sick was any indication of having a boy, then I'm definitely having a boy. I'm going to the doctor on the 10th july, maybe I'll know by then what I'm having.

Feetjie, I'm in Limpopo too, and there's no ICU in my town either. There's only one gynae in town, and she's always busy. She's OK, although I don't really have a choice. I'll be giving birth in cpt though, so I'm not really worried.

KLK, love the bump. I think mine is like yours now. I was flat all the time, and then last night I had the worst cramps. I woke up this morning with a proper baby bump, that just magically appeared out of no where

AFM, I'm on my way home from the airport. Loved cpt as usual, but now I'm broke! And I didn't even buy anything for myself or the baby! Although, I do have 3 cooler bags filled with food..and its all for me the flight was fine, I was just verrry tired and nauseas. My dh had to cross the car over two lanes now now cos I started throwing up in the car. At least I feel better now.
One bad thing did happen on our way to the airport last tuesday..someone bumped into us from behind my car isn't even a year old yet..and now the bumper and boot is all messed up. At least the car is still drivable, but the other driver didn't even have license, never mind insurance. Now I'll have to dip into my baby savings to pay the excess, which is quite high cos I don't have my license for a year yet either. After such a nice holiday, I now have to sort this out

Hey everyone

momtoc - have you tried the effervescent panados? Apparently they work so much better in pregnancy. I have some but haven't had the need to use them yet. My friend was so glad when it came back on the market a couple of weeks ago, she only believes in that. Another thing is, her gynae said always take 3 panados as 2 is useless. She had a very high risk pregnancy (5 mc's) and did that regularly so I believe that will be safe.
