Mandri, will be going to constantinides next friday, its great idea, i will defn do that.
sjoe its so bad to stay so far ;-( but yes i also want to make sure the doc is good. thats the strugle with small towns, my gp really great, and the hospital also (medi clinic) but dont have neonatal icu ???!!! so thats way i am defn keeping both my options . we are near tzaneen, and you?

Welcome Feetjie...Im also due the 15th but having a c-section so will be having him/her on the 5th

Feetjie - been there 4 times and waited 2 hours plus! Also not fond of the waiting but he is an excellent gynae when it comes to high risk, that is the only reason I'm staying with him. DH was fuming first time we had to wait so long as we also live about 280km from Pretoria. What I started doing now is phoning the receptionist an hour before and asking her if the doc is on time and if not what time I should come in. In that time we went baby shopping. Do that if you do go back to him! Are your next appointment with your gp or with Constantinides? Where are you from?

I was reading youre posts from the start but havent post yet . So, i think its time.

I am currently 16 weeks, due date 15 Dec.

Its very nice to hear all your story's, then one doesn't feel so alone

Mandri, at the other posts i read you're also going to wilgers, may I ask who's your dr.
We are staying 400km from pretoria, but i am going to dr constantinides (wow he is just so busy... we saw him for the 8weeks app, the app was at 4 we saw him at 7! and it was really i think 15min.

So we decide that i am als going to my gp in town, everyone loves him and he takes really good care, so i am going to have it 2 ways now, if everything is fine i'll go with doc here therwise wilgers. We are going to him next week again?

Congrats on the little boy momtoc!!!!! So glad you could see the gender! I'm glad all is so good with your little one and I hope that infection disappears quickly!

I have to agree that I think a c-section is easier when you have a child. With the twins I walked out of the hospital with empty arms and had a horrible time, the cut was constantly burning like you put coals on it. So I can relate to how you felt! This time I know it will be easier cause I'm going home with baby in my arms!

Hope you are all doing well & keeping nice & warm!

palesa, autobiography nogal!!! I'm telling you, I have had my share of pain these last few years & med aids just tick me off. I've been on Discovery for 2 years now & no problems at all. So keeping FX it stays that way. You asked me if I can give normal birth. Yes, doc is very positive about vbac if all goes well with this pregnancy. So let's wait & see. I didn't really have any pain with my c-section when I had my daughter. I was walking the following day & only stayed 2 nights in hospital. A newborn really does take your mind off the major surgery

AFM, I had my 16 week check up this morning. Everything is well with baby. Doc says baby is very active & was all over the place hehehe. Baby weighes 150g as should. We managed to see all the fingers & toes. It was just so so cute. Baby didn't want to show much face - the hand was in the way. Doc tried to see the sex & he is very confident that it's a boy He doubled check to also make sure that the umbilical cord wasn't in the way & it clearly wasn't. So, it looks like it's team blue for me BUT I'll wait for the 20 week check up to make 100% sure before I start buying boy things...... Me on the other hand, I've got a little bit of infection, nothing too serious but he wants to treat it asap before I get serious bladder infection but other than that, I'm fine. Didn't get a scan pic this time as he only charged me for the consultation. I'm a bit sad about the pic but atleast I'm saving some money this month.....
