Palesa, I dont get muscle cramps at the moment, but sometimes I do get twitches, feels really weird. If you frequently get spasms in your legs, it may be a sign of a potassium deficiency though, I used to get those when running. Theres a vitamin you can take for that called Slow-K, but you should maybe just run it past the pharmacist, whether its safe in pregnancy. Or you could eat LOTS of babanas!

Momtoc, I also keep sleeping on my back! I go to sleep on my side, and then wake up on my back, having rolled over in my sleep. I'm getting worried about that too, cause baby is almost 1.5kg and I'm fast approaching the 32week mark. But my Dr also said I would probably stop doing it on my own cause it will start making me feel sick, before it can affect the baby. Really hope I dont need to worry...

The weekend!! I'm taking one of our old lounge chairs to an upholsterer tomorrow, she already asked for our nursery color scheme so hopefully we can discuss samples and I'll get an idea how the chair will look. I'm quite excited! I'm also going to look for a chest for the nursery, or something similar to put all the fluffy toys on, and store toys in later. And maybe a lamp if I can find one in pink ;)

Hope you ladies have a lovely weekend!

Happy friday girls!!!

I'm so glad it's weekend, even though it's the big move today.....

mosaneo, why don't they want you to take your leave together with your maternity leave??? I don't think that's right of them to do that.

Clueless, I'm only 25 weeks now & I'm also not sleeping well. I'm very uncomfortable during the night & the only comfortable position is to lie on my back. I know my gynae said I don't have to worry too much about it until I'm 32 weeks or when baby hits that 1kg mark! I don't know if I should get one of those preggy pillows??? I never had one with my 1st pregnancy....As for summer preggy wear.....I don't know what I'm gonna wear as pants are concerned. I bought a yoga pants at Kids Emporium. It is so so comfotable. It is long, so will see how it feels in the hot weather but I just love it. I want to get 2 more. I also bought 3 short sleeve tops, 2 of which I can use when I breastfeed & then I also want to get some dresses. I feel like I always struggle with pants lol.

pales, where exactly are you getting muscle pulls - calves, buttocks???

AFM, took a days leave yesterday to try & sort out the final boxes at home. I'm just exhausted & can't focus on my work today. Hubby is off today to get everything out of the old place. My daughter also had her last day yesterday & my mom is looking after her today.
What are your plans for the weekend? I need to go do my hair tomorrow as I've been putting it off for over 2 weeks already, need to unpack & sort out tonight & the rest of the weekend. Have to go buy all the new school things that my daughter is going to need & then we have a birthday braai on sunday......busy busy busy

Thanks momtoc and mosaneo! I feel like there's still and endless amount of waiting to be done! :( And I'm actually getting physically uncomfortable now. Not getting much sleep, I'm getting up 4 times a night to go to the bathroom, and every time I do, the cat wakes up too and cries for food (I guess she thinks she's preparing me for motherhood). Also, none of the clothes I bought to wear during winter fit anymore  Also, my bump is actually still quite small (compared to other ladies at 31 weeks) so I dont know if its going to stay on the smaller side (and I can get away with buying dresses/tops just a little bigger) or if it's suddenly going to "explode", make up for lost time, and hence I must invest in tent-like dresses  What are you ladies doing for maternity wear now its summer?

mosaneo, I'm so sorry to hear about your boss, sounds like a meanie! Maybe you can take sick leave if you really dont feel well?
