Yo! i am also pretty scare of ghosts and spirits. Momtoc you are brave i would have been out of there for fast even the ghost would not see me. Please let us know how it goes, its like a movie

ooh my word Momtoc that is freaky... i would be running with your lg if i was there. i am freaky scared of ghosts. Shame man and why do they have to scare kids like that, why are they the only one that can see them? I am sure its cause they know parents might not believe them when they say they see ghosts.

Just from reading this i am looking around me and getting freaked out that i hope there are no ghosts around me. lol.

In my culture when a person moves out of a house, they need to do a ritual to remove all the spirits they came with and tell them that they are moving, they will no longer be staying there and take them with to their new house.

Ms_S, no she didn't live in that house. She passed away in 2006 & lived in Triomf.
Children are definitely more sensitive to these kind of things & I'm trying to be brave infront of my daughter but I know she can sense that I'm scared as well....

Clueless, jip, I believe that children & animals can see these things & I prefer NOT to have any cats, especially in the house

There are so many things that one needs to do to cleanse the home to get rid of bad energies & so on - burn incence, burning blue candles, open your bibles, drawing crosses on your doors with olive oil & so on

The weird part is that she was born after my dh's gran past away & she has never seen a photo of his gran.

Yesterday morning she kept talking about it & why is her great gran scaring her & so on & so my dh told her again who it is & that she probably just wants to see her & that my daughter must just tell her to go back to heaven & to Jesus but what freaked me out was that there was another photo on the stand of hubby's grandfather, also when he was about 40 - 50 years old - who passed away in 1996 & she says, "that's my grandfather" Dh asked her who told her that cause we've never told her who he was & she said he did & he was here with "die tannie". I just got goosebumps all over!!!!!!!!!

Then she says she wants to give them a hug cause she loves them but at the same time, she is still so terrified!

That's a creepy story Momtoc.. I don't blame you for not wanting to go home again! Did this gran live in this house at some point or something? Children are more sensitive to this kind of thing, my dh used to see he's late father on and off through out he's childhood. That part about the photo belongs in a movie!

Wow Momtoc, that is extremely scary!! Especially the fact that your LG could point out her photo, gives me goosebumps!

I believe that small children (and animals) can see these things easier than we can, and we should not disregard what they see. My father, when he was a little boy, saw a couple of spirits/ghosts of newly deceased family members. Back in the day it was assumed as fact, and my grandfather just told him not to worry, that they came to say goodbye to him before going on to heaven.

I would definitely try to get your aunt to keep on trying to get hold of the old lady, perhaps she can help.

whooo haai momtoc thats creepy stuff and guess what the babies are the only ones that can see all these weired things.

i believe you coz when my son was 3/5 he screamed in the middle of the night saying there was a monster in our bed and one outside and he could here the monster in the yard that looks like a dog lol. obvioulsy at that time you think its silly but the look on that childs face was worisome. so we prayed for him and unfortunately no one could sleep a wink after that.

i consulted with my mom the and aunt and we bought insense and all these other things to burn at night. these didnt help though it took forever coz this child will wake up at the same time every night for a month.
