Just a quick update. Baby Oyama was born thid morning at 1.30 weighing 3.24kg.

Atleast you've washed the clothes & your bags are packed - I need to do that like in right now
Don't stress too much about the size of baby. You will be able to push him out there hahaha.
My gynae estimated Jayden to be 3.6kg @ birth & I'm estimating him to be about 3kg with my 37 week check up next week.
I totally understand how you feel regarding the living arrangements. We live with my MIL & it's not always ideal & I get irritated with her - things she says or does! I also so want my little boy to have his own room so that I can decorate it beautifully but ja, we will get there. We WILL have our own place.

Sorry for being so scarce! Seems like I've missed out on a lot.

Big congratulations to all the new mommies! I'm so envious of everyone who are able to hold their little ones now. How are you all doing? Such cute photos Punchysmum. Really can't wait for more uploads from the others as well.

Magz, I'm feeling just as impatient as you. At least I'm not 40 weeks yet, hope you doing as much walking and exercise as you can. From next week I'll start walking with determination I think.

Momtoc, lovely photos. How many weeks are you on that photo shoot? Cos you still have a belly button! Mine disappeared a while ago You lucky the nesting has kicked in...I'm still waiting for mine to kick in. At least I've washed clothes already, and my bags are packed.

Babyzee and Mandri, I think I have to join your big baby club! Had my 37 week appointment Monday..baby was 3.3kgs. Doctor estimates he's weight to be 3.7-4kg at birth. I asked if I will still be able to give birth naturally, and the doctor sees no reason why not. I'm prepared for a c-sec, and will probably choose that route if the baby doesn't show by the due date.

AFM, I'm finally in CPT and staying with my parents. This is the first time I'm in cpt without my dh since we've been married. I must admit, its been difficult! I can't get used to staying with my parents again, and there's all these mini-dramas in the house as well. I'm not sure how long I will last.

I was not happy with my gynae appointment AT ALL. He had an emergency c-sec scheduled right after me, so the whole session was RUSHED. I basically paid R100/min for my appointment. I'm so glad my next appointment is on my due date, 30 November. I also had a tour of the hospital, which went well.

I have so much to do still, my room needs to be painted and new bedding and curtains sorted. I'm not even sure where baby will sleep yet. I always assumed he will be in the bed with me, but now everyone is telling me that he will need a crib for the first few months.

My dh is flying down 24 November, I can't wait.

Mandri i am happy for the big baby at least it is a csec i love the chubby cheeks when they are born.

Momtoc i am also like you i haven't touched anything. The clothes are just there and my bag is not even packed yet. I am thinking of soaking the clothes tomorrow night and wash them on Sat. My nanny can do the ironing i honestly don't have the energy. I just have one or two things to pick up for my bag i should be done packing by end of next week. I am thinking of leaving the bag in the car just in case their is an emergency.

Mosa am glad i am having a csec and i don't have to push out a big baby, hopefully he stays put. I am just glad baby has not engaged yet.
