sorry Ms_s that baby is not making his exit early, i knw the anxiety. i think i will also listen to momtoc and wait a while, just try and exercise. The phone forum is so nice and convenient, i doubt i will be making much presence on this one by next week so everyone pls join us on the phone forum.
Ms_S i would die if i got stiches like your cuz, shame man, i hope not to get them at all.
It was very sweet of hubby to surprise you, i can just imagine how i would feel if my hubby did that. anywho hopefully i am seeing him this weekend then he will come back again on the 14/12, just scared i might deliver with him in CPT.
Its great that you had a nice baby shower and how i envy you with your sleeping because i sleep late and wake up early, jus uncomfortable like momtoc. when the baby moves its like my ribs will break, i wake up at 3:00am every day imagine...

Momtoc these kids are just shy of crowds. i hope being hom is doing you some good.

I went to the doc on friday, he was very vague about the baby's weight but he said by the time i deliver he could be 3.1 - 3.5kg which is cool for me coz i dnt think i would be able to puch bigger than that. he also said if i want to be induced he can do it from 38 weeks but i will take momtoc's advice and learn to be patient. maybe run errands in order to keep busy. I am so happy it is my last week at work, i feel like screaming and dancing, lol. 4 more days and i am out of here.

This forum is so quiet these days, i miss all the other ladies, hopefull you will join the phone forum...

mosaneo, my daughter is apparently a star when they do rehearsals & not shy @ all cause I spoke to her teacher about my concern & she said she is wonderful when the practice

Ms_S, so nice to hear from you. I thought you might have had baby early I know your are anxious but don't induce, unless you are over 41 weeks. They do say that it can cause more harm than good to induce unnecessarily Be patient. Start walking as much as you can, do some swimming, do some lunges if you can & then you can also get evening primrose oil capsules & then insert one vaginally each night before you go to bed.....apparently that helps.
I'm so glad hubby surprised you with an earlier arrival & that he is helping you so much!

Afternoon ladies

Sorry I haven't been around, I didn't have access to a laptop this week, so couldn't reply. I wish the reason I was absent was because of the baby's arrival! So far I have been experiencing no braxton hicks, no cramps, no nothing! Everyone is also saying that my tummy is still high I wish this tummy dropping story can just happen already, and the baby can come. I've been sleeping the best these past 2 weeks, I don't even get up to go to the toilet anymore. I don't know what's happening, cos I'm 39 weeks now and expected the baby to come early. I'm just anxious cos I want to hold my baby already!

So sorry about the UTI Mandri...how are you holding up? I hope this weekend goes quickly for you. Are you still experiencing pains?

Babyzee, I'm packing just as light as you. The hospital is providing everything, all I'm taking with is the going home outfit and an extra pack of nappies.

Momtoc, enjoy your last day at work! The minutes must be ticking by for you. I'm glad your sister is well and back at work. I also saw Breaking Dawn Part 2 the weekend, it was great, and I saw it again yesterday, but then I slept through most of it lol.

Mosaneo, I'm also thinking about induction if the baby doesn't come by my due date. I've just heard that its very very painful, and can sometimes cause more harm. My cousin was induced in June, and said it was even worse than when she gave birth naturally and tore till her anus

AFM on Saturday night, after coming home from the movies, there was a knock on the door...and standing right there on the stoop was my dh! He surprised me and came to cpt a week earlier. I was so so very happy, and couldn't stop shouting. With him around this week, things have gotten done so quickly! He helped paint my room, drove me everywhere and even cleaned the windows and furniture. He's staying until the 2nd December, and will come back the 14th. So the baby better arrive by next week!

I had my baby shower the Sunday..it was so nice. It was at a coffee shop, and all my cousins were there. Two of my friends came, as the rest were still busy with exams. There was so much food, and even a DJ lol. I got mostly clothes and baby products, not so much nappies. So I knew exactly what to shop for this week.

i have sent through my number. i am glad your sis is better and back at work. goodluk with the concert, hope performs, my son is also very shy n doesnt like concerts, also cries on stage. hope you will enjoy seeing your family and attending the wedding. i am not able to sleep these days, 2 or 3 hours is enough, n i have cramps, hopefully the doc will shed some light on what s happening.

last night we took my son out for a movie, games n dinner at spur cause it was his bday, he had a blast.

Mandri, I'm not gonna comment on here as I've spoken to you on bbm but I hope you are doing better today!

AFM, we have my daughter's concert tonight & also tomorrow morning. They do it over 2 days. I just hope everything goes smoothly this year cause she gets shy when she's on stage & cries.......stresses me out but she's grown up so much this year & I'm sure she'll do just fine.
My sister is also getting married tomorrow. She had to plan this wedding in 2 months & No, she is not pregnant ha ha ha but it was a rough 2 months seeing that my other sister was in & out of hospital but she is back @ work & doing ok.
So ja, sort of a busy weekend again but atleast I'll be able to sit & enjoy everything. My mother & brother came up from Cape Town yesterday & can't wait to see them tomorrow.

Mandri sorry bout the UTI, i have heard that it is very painfull. hope you recover this weekend, but even if your baby comes after the weekend its cool cause you will be 37 weeks which is not bad. it is full term.
