Hey everyone

Ms_S - the physio was painful as I anticipated but its already feeling so much better thanks! Have a follow up tomorrow so a bit more pain but its worth it! Lol, the one thing in pregnancy I find amusing is how one literally "pops" over night, one day something will fit and next day not. I always show people my pics when I was pregnant with the twins, they think its shocking how quickly a belly can grow!

Hi ladies

So quiet here all of a sudden!

Love whole wheat bread, the nuttier the better :) no problems with constipation this side.

Mandri, how did the physio go? Or must you still have the appointment?

Mosaneo, I saw a really good looking baby bag at a fair, and plan on buying it end of the month. I've decided that it will be my only 'splurge' since we've been so good with buying 2nd hand stuff. Its too early to even think of packing bags or making checklists..that I'll only start in November I think.

Magz, its always good to drink lots of water, but I'm always reaching for that bottle of Stoney! Dh is always scolding me, and the Bonaqua stays firmly closed.

AFM I think my tummy has just burst this week! I'm struggling to find clothes that fit, and none of my jackets seem to zip up. Either my clothes were ridiculously small all this time..or I've just grown a ridiculously large amount in a matter of days. Even the few new tops I bought recently are feeling a little too snug. I need to take another scan at 20 weeks to compare to the scan I took at 17 weeks, cos I think this baby is a right vetty.

Hello ladies

Typing from my phone so not able to do personals...hope u all well! (Please excuse spelling too ;) )

I found that the more water I drink, the less I'm constipated...so with all yourr fibre intake remember to drink PLENTY water, even more than you usually would. It seems to be working for me.

I paid a R360 booking fee and with that you get:
- 4D scan
- birth announcement with pic of baby on website
- vaccination
- birth registration
- follow up check up after birth (weighing etc)
- goodie bag

They give u a lists of things you should pack, like linen savers, sanitary towels, and other basic toiletries etc...but Netcare sells a pre packed bag with the recommended things at their pharmacies so you don't have to buy individual items. Not sure how much it is though.

Hoep u all having a lovely evening....
Nyty

momtoc - sjoe you are really getting that fibre in! I also hate breads with seeds in, and that is the one I currently have. Will also rather get the smooth one!

Hello there

Magz, so glad everything is fine with baby.

Mandri, I still drink Movicol but only once a day & also not everyday as it's extremely horrible  but it does seem to work for me. I do eat whole wheat bread & pastas but I've been eating that for about 2 years already. I just don't like bread with seeds in it so I buy the smooth whole wheat bread. I stay clear of white bread & pastas where possible. Yogurt is also good, maybe try the Activea one if you not already eating it. I have cereal every morning & it includes all bran, wheat bix, pronutro & muesli type cereal which doesn't have raisins etc in, just the plain ones ha ha ha. So, in some way I'm getting fibre in. I just need to up my water intake as I'm very bad with that.

mosaneo, I've done absolutely nothing yet with this pregnancy ha ha. I will probably start packing hospital bags when I'm about 25 weeks pregnant :-) I haven't even bought anything yet. Luckily I've got the big things still but no clothing, blankies etc.
