Ms_S you lucky with the bras! I have a few ones that fit but two of them the wire is coming out and I can't fix it. But they are also a couple of years old was just a bit big. Hubby said I can go and have a look at what I can find, but don't want to spend too much as soon I will need nursing bras.

My parents are buying a pram. I have a twin pram that cost us R6000 4 years ago, so I didn't want to spend that much this time around. And I feel I can't let my parents pay R7000 for a Graco or Peg Perego. So we found this pram (pic attached). I wasn't fond on Chelino 4 years ago as it was a new brand, but since seeing the pram I've been seeing a lot of Chelino prams around. I actually saw someone with the same pram in Boksburg the weekend and went all pram stalker and stopped them to find out if it really is worth it. They were very happy so I made up my mind. Its about R2600 for the pram and a car seat.

I have 2 chicco car seats I want to sell, its brand new, never been used. Payed R900 a chair 4 years ago but are willing to take R500 one. If anyone is interested please let me know (pic attached of the chairs - color a bit different - mine is blue and beige).

I stayed home all weekend. Did a lot of cooking baking and SLEPPING! So feeling well rested and ready for the week ahead.

Palesa and Mosaneo- so sorry you guys are going through such drama @ work! Hope it gets easier soon so you won’t have to make any drastic decisions. I must say my (female) manager and HR have been nothing but supportive and excited. I guess I should count my blessings, especially because I’m at such a huge corporate! But I wouldn’t mind being a SAHM like Marijke…Now that’s BLISS!

Ms_S you’re so lucky to get good second hand furniture….Have you seen how much some of this stuff costs! It’s CRAZY! If anyone knows where to get gently used furniture (cot, compactum etc…)please share!

Ms_s you are very lucky my dear R1800 is a bargain. im window shopping at the moment dont even have 1 item yet.(superstitions)lol.

im gonna spend that 2 weeks resting and waiting for the baby will combine it with maternity leave. im also very lazy when it comes to product. my previous manager bouht me something for stretch marks and guess what it`s still sealed. i just use vaseline on the tummy so it doesnt itch.

GOOD LUCK with the scan tomorrow hopefully the baby will open wide so you can see the sex. i cant wait for saturday counting every second. wish i had that machine the gynaes use coz i would spend every waking moment watching what the baby is doing.

there is still no popping yet im almost 22 weeks there should be a sin against that.

Welcome Amanda goodluck with the rest of your pregnancy..three little boys with definitely be a handful!

Mosaneo..I don't know why companies/bosses change on you the minute they find out you pregnant..its as if you become a burden or something. My sil is going through something similar..her company doesn't want to give her annual raise until after she comes back from maternity leave. I work for government..so I think things are a little easier for me. My manager is also very understanding. Good luck to you and palesa..hope things get easier for you guys

Momtoc, I haven't been using anything for my skin..I'm actually very lazy when it comes to using products. I'll give Happy Event a try, don't know how long that will last though.

Marijke, extremely jealous of the SAHM status! Enjoy every minute. Did you take maternity leave really early or did you just resign from your job? Happy planning with you lg's party! I think they're so much fun, I'm already thinking about themes for my child's first birthday

I think I'm the only one not experiencing itchy breasts. Mandri, I was lucky, my mom bought herself bras in the wrong size (she can't see labels without her specs on) and couldn't return them. She's been keeping them for me since December last year! Congrats on the boy btw! Looks like there's only boys on the list so far.

Palesa, I hope you rest well. Spend the 2 weeks at home, and rest even more! Sometimes going on holiday just drains you. I wish I could spend 2 weeks in bed doing nothing.

AFM I have a doctors appointment tomorrow, I'm very extremely excited cos I hope to find out the sex. I made dh take off work to come with me, cos I know if the doctor tells me the baby is a girl, he won't believe me. So I need him there, cos he's convinced its a boy! Also my colleague offered to sell me her old pram, car seat and camp cot for only R1800. Everything is in very good condition, and I'm not bothered about buying second hand things. We had actually budgeted about R5000 for everything, so I think I'm quite lucky.

mosaneo i promise you that we are in the same boat. dont stress too much though after the baby then you can start looking for a job. i have been stressed with the job hunting. the market is really bad. i just hate owing the bank a year when i come from maternity. there has to be a better way people.

momtoc and Marijke the men are really having issues. mine opens the car windows in the morning and says he`s bilious and i start laughing coz my MS disappered at 15 weeks lol. is it all in their minds.

momtoc, i have asked for some HR advice and waiting to hear what they say but this guy is a favourite in this company i do not know what will happen.

i am really close to resigning cause i feel like i am putting alot of strain on my baby since i am always unhappy, stressed and depressed.

Don't you have a grievance procedure that you can do in your company?
