Ladies, I am scaring myself! I know when I got pregnant this time around I was not the size I was when I got pregnant with my first son...lets just say a few kg's stuck around after I delivered him... But I will be half way on Sunday and tried to find a picture of me when I was about that pregnant with my son and I am like a thousand times bigger than I was then at the same time in my pregnancy!! I feel like such a whale already!!

The other non-first time mommies, do you find the same?

Welcome @LindaR88 :)

Hi Ladies!

I am new here on Moomie! Been on Babycenter for a while but it's not as relevant as chatting with ladies in your own environment! I feel like I already know you by reading through your posts!

A little about myself (and my gogga) I am currently 21w4d pregnant! Expecting a little Valentine Princess!! Me and hubby are so excited about it being a girl! We've glimpsed the confirmation at our 16w scan but will wait to officially announce until after our next appointment next week Wednesday, just in case you know!!

I've been starting to feel a bit uncomfortable the last week or so, and like some of you mentioned, especially after eating!! The space is too small!! Haha! And to have to yawn when so overfull.. Epic fail! Haha!

Seeing that I feel I know you already I have attached a pic! That was last week at 20weeks, I feel so huge!

Other than the feeling of fullness I have really had an easy pregnancy so far!

Looking forward to get to know you better, you all seem like amazing ladies!

@CarienM & BabyT - Thanks for the info on the car seats, DH also suggested that we wait until the expo to see if we can get an isofix one on special. We're also going to look at getting a nice travel system at the expo.

Now that you've mentioned the sinuses.. mine have also been acting up from about week 18..lol
Oh and can I add how difficult our sleeping positions become! I used to sleep on my stomach and now I cant even sleep on my back, its either left or right side... I tried sleeping with an extra pillow behind my back for support, but DH says it feels like a third person in the bed - sleeping between us... lol...sigh

Such a cute bumpie JLK :)

Hi Ladies,

Thanks for all the well wishes  My daughter is doing much better already. It's just amazing how adaptable kids are.  We went for a follow-up at the specialist and he says she is healing well. He did tell us at the follow-up that the bone actually shattered and that is why he had no choice but to remove the teeth and that we will most likely have years of dentist and orthodontist visits to look forward too :S

With regards to vitamins... I have been taking 'pregomega plus' in the evening right before bed as any type of vitamin in the morning sets my tummy rolling. I also used it with every other pregnancy (and in between) so far and only took a break from it in January when I started Staminogro and later also Inofolic. (within two months of starting the inofolic we found out that we were expecting!)

We will be assessing the traveling system that we used when our daughter was born and if everything is still intact and okay we will be using that again. Will just give everything a really good wash and buy new straps.
We are lucky with this pregnancy as we already have all of the big ticket items as we never got rid of it after having our daughter.

BabyT, I'm also trying to eat lots of fiber and am drinking so much water that I have to do a loo run at least 4 or 5 times a night. But whatever keeps the system running is good with me. I've also cut down on red meat - which I love...

CarienM, my sinuses have also been acting up and I feel like I've got to carry a box of tissues wherever I go.

Meijermom, at our 19 week checkup our little boy weighed 300g. We will be going for another checkup next week Thursday. I cannot wait! Luckily we bought a doppler so when he's having a lazy day I can listen to his little heart beating away and know that everything is just fine.

I'm hoping to make it to the baby expo but might be in Namibia for two weeks to present training (if my gynea approves it). I'll be traveling about 450km this weekend to present training on Monday and Tuesday so will have to see how that goes before committing to the Namibia trip.

I'll also attach a belly pic - taken on Monday. I feel HUGE already and am wondering how much bigger I can possibly get!

And that is my letter for today :silly:
