@MeijerMom, I personally think your doctor is being a bully, you shouldn't have to convince your doctor why you chose a particular birthing method, I believe its your decision and if you feel like when the push comes to shove and your doctor wont respect your wishes then I'd suggest seeing a different doc or going the midwife route. Unless of course there is an underlying medical reason - the decision is ultimately yours.

@BabyT and Bumblebee - your bumps look so cute. I cant believe most of us are already/almost half way. Time flies when you're having fun

On a different note, I felt little beanie kick for the first time on Tuesday night - Its such an awesome feeling - difficult to explain, but like popping popcorn. Unfortunately DH couldn't feel it from the outside, but all in due time

On the topic of names, we'd like to know what you guys think of the name we choose: Zaiden?

Meijermom, personally I think you have the right to choose what way you want to deliver irrespective of your reasons..... But thats just me.... Glad the scan went well

Hi mommies! Went for mid scan today. All went well and baby is very healthy. Very happy. I told doctor I want to have baby by way of natural birth. He told me I must give him 5 reasons why I want to do that and 5 reasons why not c-section. Has anybody had this sort of discussion with their doctor ? He said we will then discuss it at around 30 to 32 weeks.

I will post a pic tomorrow (as I am working late today) - everyone also keeps telling me that I am carrying small, but to me the bump does not feel small anymore. But I must say that I like the look of a little pregnancy - hahahaha, That will probably change when I look like an elephant, but for now I like it

@nix, my thoughts are with you, as well as all the positive thoughts from all the ladies here! Like everyone has said, medical science is amazing these days and I believe they will be able to do anything necessary for your little boy. I am also very sad to hear of your gran, big hugs

@Nix - my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this difficult time. It sounds so 'hallmark greeting card-ish' to say that, but just know that we are all thinking and praying for you. I completely agree with Mother Niki, babies are resilient, and yes you dont know whats going to happen, but just know that your little man will just come out fighting a bit harder than originally anticipated. And medical science is the most magnificent thing! Just look what doc's can do these days. If they cant fix it while you are pregnant, they sure will be able to when he is born. Like you say, try to stay positive, try to stay healthy and just tell your little man that you love him and talk to him as much as possible so that he knows mommy is there and will protect him come hell or high water. Your strength combined with his can move mountains!
