Morning ladies,
@Nix - I am in JNB, we live in Greenside, as far as I know you're in CT? Where are you located @STK? Is this your first baby?
So for the (.)(.) ladies, unfortunately that is just one of those things. I remember in my first pregnancy that I pretty much wanted to cry any time anyone came in for a hug b/c they hurt so much, I think you do get used to it. Now with my 2nd pregnancy I cant say that they are that sore, they are sore and sensitive, but at least hugs dont induce tears.
Also during my first pregnancy I remember reading that you should "take naps in your car during your lunch break" and I remember thinking those people are nuts, but a few weeks later I thought that was the best idea since sliced bread!
Which prenatal vit's are you ladies taking? I am finishing my bottle of Vital vit's and will then move over to Centrum Meterna DHA, took that one during my first pregnancy too and didnt have any issues - know some people feel that vit's make them want to vomit.
AFM - I just went to get my quantitative blood work just to close the loop - still dont like needles!! I have an apt for tomorrow in 3 weeks with the doc, made it a bit in advance so that we can hear the baby's heart beat. Other than that I am just dealing with stupid people making stupid comments about my pregnancy. Yesterday a good friend of mine said to me "so has AF not arrived yet..?" So I reminded her that I got a positive pregnancy test last week to which she replied "oh just checking if it was not a false positive"...WTF???!! I mean really? So I told her chances of getting a false positive are slim to none, you either have the hormone in your urine or you dont, only times that you have a likely hood of getting a false positive is if you are menopausal or taking hormone treatments. I mean really, like we dont worry enough in the first trimester about having a happy healthy pregnancy!!
Anyway, like I said stupid people.
Good luck with your apt today @Nix, let us know what the doc says!
