Okay so second trimester is safer to spread the news. I think we will just wait until then.

Thanks @CarienM. I think I should also start having conversations with our seed to stay put. That's too cute :)

Oh and to answer your question, we have told a few people, but actually less this time round than with my first pregnancy. Have told a few friends and our parents. Have not told my father in law b/c he really really cant keep a secret at all. We will probably tell a few more people after we see the doc, but mostly keep it under wraps till we get to the second trimester.

And yes, the first trimester is generally the more 'dangerous' one of which the first 7 weeks are the most dangerous, so as soon as we all pass the 7 week mark we are doing much better all ready. I have had a chat with my little sesame seed and hopefully it will stay put :)

Wow MrsMom, how exciting, I am glad everything is fine :-)

I am only going to the doctor on the 17th of July (9 weeks and 1 day) so this is probably going to be the longest 2 and a half weeks wait ever, if we are really lucky we might be able to hear the heart beat by then.

We have also decided to wait till after our appointement to start telling most people, but I must admit - I have told my sister and two friends. Apparently the first 12 weeks are the most risky and that is why people tend to not share the news too early.

Is it your first baby MrsMom? Seems like you and I are only due 3 days appart :-)

Thanks for the Magnolia Oil tip - I will definately try it, I am currently using Bio-Oil - not so much for the normal tummy stretch marks yet, but my boobs has significantly increased in size and when I hit puberty I got a significant amount of strengh marks there, so I guess I am prone to stretch marks and therefore I am just trying to be a little cautious...

@MrsMom - thats great news! So happy your doc is happy with your progress, I'm sure at your next doc visit you will hear the baby's heart beat.

Thanks for asking about the prenatal vits, good to know, I bought some preg-omega over the weekend, but if I only need them from 12 weeks on, thats great, will just take folic acid and maybe some omega's till I get to that point.

Thanks also for the info about the magnoia oil, have not heard of that one but I am sure willing to give it a try at R20! just dont have any P.E.P boutiques anywhere near me, will see how I can get hold of some

Hoping all you ladies had a great weekend, besides being cold in the Gauteng area (not sure if you were as cold as we were @Nix) we didnt really do much, just tried to keep warm.

Have a great day Ladies :)

Hello Mom's.

So I had my session with the doc on Friday. There was no heart beat yet. It was just great to get confirmation that yes its true we are expecting. The doctor says we calculated the due date correctly for the 21st February. She advised to keep taking Folic acid and that I must change to Pregomega Plus 28 Day Pack or any derivative of it at 12 weeks. @CarienM she mentioned the supplements you were using says they also great. She also said if intend on trying natural I should start doing Keggle exercises. 3 sets of 10 a day. I am doing them it just feels weird and unnatural but I am sure I will get used to it.

I am too excite for words. I have not told anyone. When is it okay to tell people? I have never heard anyone talk bout being 6 weeks pregnant. Have you guys started telling people yet?

@BabyT my sister used Magnolia Oil from Pep Stores it worked wonderfully when she was pregnant, she still uses it now. Its R20 lol. I am going to use it at night but I trust Justine Tissue oil. I put it on all over my body, its still early but I think I should get into the habit of doing it.

Have a great day all.
