This mommy is not feeling well at all this morning  I have eaten, had something to drink but I can not shake this nauseous feeling and now I am VERY bloated as well - so all round this is just one fantastic day...

Looking a little green, sitting in my office, with a unbuttoned pants and trying to do month end through all the yawning, but yet still pretending that nothing is wrong and that life is a peach, hahahahaha

I have no food aversions yet - except that I can not stand the smell of biltong...

Hey Ladies,

Anyone experiencing food aversion yet? I cannot stand the sight, smell, taste of meat - any meat like tuna, bacon, chicken... I swear this little bean is probably going to be a vegetarian...lol

I've been surviving on salty cracks, tomatoes & cheese spread toast.

Wow and can I just say my sense of smell is insane, I can smell everything and everyone! to the point of it becoming nauseating. Even DH's deodorant smells off to me. lol

Hope you all are doing well :D

I had a salty crack before I even lifted my head off my pillow this morning and I have to say (knock on wood) I have not felt like I need to make sure I am close to a bathroom for vomiting purposes! How nice is that! I still have a slight nauseous feeling, but not as bad as the last couple of days. Hope everyone else is doing well :)

You can ask for Asic at a pharmacy, it is not a prescription drug. I also have something called Zofer which you can only get on prescription. My doc said that the Zofer does work for bad ms but it's safety has not been extensively tested so it's a last resort drug for those who are at risk of dehydration.

I have an anxiety disorder and suffer from emetophobia (fear of vomiting). Basically I feel less anxious just knowing that I have the meds. I can't use tranquilizers now so the asic helps to keep me calm.

Hi Mommies, sorry for barging in... was searching for something else and then came across your thread.

On the morning sickness - I was also prescribed the Asic... No use whatsoever for me, within 10 minutes of drinking the Asic it was already working it's way back up :tmi:

The only thing that actually worked like a bomb for me, was believe it or not - Essentiale. I took one as soon as possible in the morning and it took my nausea away for the rest of the day. Also started drinking my vitamins just before bed time, but then noticed that they tend to keep me up at night :(

Good luck with all of your pregnancies!!!

@Nix - what is Asic and where do I get it? Today I am not as queezy as yesterday but the day is still long... need to see if there is anything I can do for it. BTW, I got this rooibos ginger tea from Dischem - not too expensive at R20, but really not very 'ginger-y' at all, just a heads up, if you like rooibos, then try it, but just know that its not very ginger-y, I think regular rooibos is almost the same thing...

Anyway, hope you ladies have a great day!

Luckily I am not feeling so bad that I need any meds to assist me yet, but I can understand why you would want to take something to get relief.

I am spoilt cause DH makes food for us during the week, and he is really trying his best to make food that I like... Weird thing is I actually love veggies but at the moment all I want is meat...

I think my exercise routine is helping me to cope with the tiredness as well. We will see how long I can keep that up :)
