I will be using Ester from Growth Spurt Chatted to her at the Genesis open day, and will have my 1st appointment with her at 24 weeks.

Momx3, nice to meet another 3rd time mommy. My previous 2 also each came a few days earlier, lol.

Has anyone else gone for the free facial or massage by Celltone at Genesis this week?
I went on Monday and it was quite nice, going again on Friday

On Saturday we will go for our 20week scan and if we cant see the gender then, we'll only go for a scan again @ 36weeks, when we'll probably not be able to see much, so will have to wait for the birth.

I watched "The business of being born" on the weekend. I thought it had lots of good information about birth choices from both gynaes and midwifes.

Christi- I'm also having number 3. I'm having a homebirth with Sue King (also a genesis midwife) and you are due on my birthday. My babies come early, so I could pop on the 10th. Hope we don't share a midwife or go into labour together! Hahaha!

Ladies, my waterbirths were phenomenal. I didn't need any drugs. YOU CAN DOOOOO ITTTT!!

@ GML i m seeing my dr on 07 November, had bad weekend my daughter broke her wrist on saturday at the party. she was on the jumping castle we had to rash her to Linksfield

Catshart- Everything happens for a reason. Lets hope Hubby will be around and you'll both find out at the same time.


I went to a wedding this weekend wearing a flowy dress. No one noticed I was preggies until after dinner... People were kinda shocked. LOL

I cant wait for the next scan which is only on the 6th November.... I should be around 20w6 days lol

Hi Everyone
So i went for my scan on Friday and the little monster inside me wouldnt open its legs.lol. i was so upset. I just want to know what im having.
But I have my 20 week fetal assessment on the 28th and another Dr appointment in November. Luckily my partner will be here for both so it does work out well.
Im now 18 weeks and 5 days and im feeling the baby so much now. On Saturday morning it was so active and i felt such a hard kick and my sister had her hand on my tummy and she felt it too but it wasnt as strong for her. So she was the first to feel my baby.
Dr told me that I will def be having a c section because ive had 2 laparoscopies in the past so there might be scar tissue that will cause to many problems. He said the first week of March so im going to ask for the 3rd. I said as long as its not 1 March and its before 9 March im happy because most of my family is born in March and the only gap is between those dates.

Hello ladies hope u r all well. Av js been reading up chats n u hv all gt me terrified abt gvng birth,since its ma first time into motherhood. I dnt wanna watch videos tht wl make me feel even worse. Wl experience it all on the day...lol.
