Do you at least talk to her a lot?

I love running it’s like a drug for stress relief but it’s not for everyone. My husband would rather get on a bike than run.

He doesn’t but I feel bad he is awake every time I am so I might as well just ask. I feel more comfy on the coach so I wanted to ask if he would mind putting it in our room for the last few weeks hehehe.

It’s better to make an appointment and get it sorted I will remind you!

Ok then I am covered I know nothing about these things or new born babies.

People and their stories hey, everyone has something to say about something. I am trying the ball tonight to see if it helps with the back pain.

I miss my mum incredibly!! But we have been living away for almost 10 years so we are used to it. It was especially difficult when my daughter was young, and I think its a big factor that she misses out on-spending time with our families.

Men sometimes

Haha! hubby has been trying to get me into running, keeps telling me that the woman who won the comrades last year started running after she had a baby, blah blah blah

aah shame, im sure he dsnt mind giving you a turn every so often.
even though the tummy is big, the rest of you looks good!!
the pain is probably the nerves being trapped. I should really go and see the chiro, I just keep forgetting to make the appointment
lol, no the exercise ball does not cause you to go into labour. I am unsure how it would! during lanour, it was the only place i was comfortable.

for a new born-there isnt much. most meds can only be taken after 3 months. Perhaps some telament drops or gripe water in case he is a bit crampy. I went to check my meds to c what can be used on babies-it feels so long ago!
I went to visit a friend with a newborn, and realised I forgot how to hold a newborn!! :silly:

It must be very hard not being close to your mom? I will die without her!

Gees lucky you but I know what you are talking about, hubby is the same would rather ask before looking and then it’s right there in front of him. Wow that’s awesome I wanted to run my 1st marathon last year but thank goodness I fell pregnant heheh.

I feel sorry for my husband to keep him awake all night, so I struggle on. I also sleep on my right side, when I am on my left it feels like my lungs are not getting air, so weird.

Thank you, yeah and I am only 33 weeks now but looks like 38.

Good! Oh no do you know what is causing the pain? Someone told me that if you sit on an excessive ball you can go into labour?

Just a quick one seeing that you have been through this, what kind of meds should I get for him?

I guess if i lived in the same city as my mum or my MIL, I wouldnt have gone to stay at home. Its a wonderful amount of pampering and help though!

Hubby offered me last week that he will take the whole month of May off so that he can help in the last week, and when the baby arrives. He wants to run his first comrades marathon this year (end of May) so he needs a few days off before and after that too. I told him "No, please dont take so much time off". I know I sound mad, but my husband is really lazy, and finds it easier to ask me for something than look for it, because i always know where the stuff is!

Im so glad you enjoyed it! Maybe there are so many different brands of baby products, etc, that people dont know whats your preference.

Haha! Thanks!
A friend told me she used to get her hubby to pull her everytime she needed to turn! my daughter used to have her heel in my rib constantly and after she turned, her butt sticking out right at the top.

The pic is just so cute! i understand about the tummy size now after seeing the pic!

AFM got a bit more rest this weekend. have an awful pain in my right hip bone. Feels like someones scraping it! and its worse in the mornings as i sleep on my right side. I got an exercise ball and from now on will only sit on that. My chairs around the dinner table have become so uncomfortable.

Oh ok I never knew, but I guess it’s easier being with your mom especially if it’s your 1st born and everything is all so new. I am so thankful my mom is so close to me and she will be there to help me as well.

Aaawh shame man I feel so sorry for him and you, but at least he will be there this time and have the experience with you.

The shower was actually so much fun I enjoyed it but very tiring. I got so much clothes, blankets, towels and nappies that I am set for life but not a lot of baby products.

I took a nap for you and it was great hehehe. Sleeping is becoming a mission, I cannot turn, he is kicking me like crazy, and don’t let me start on the bladder. He kicked me so hard last night I though he is cracked my rib hahaha.

My aunt took this pic of me and it’s so funny.

How are you doing?

Its sorta a cultural thing to be at "mummy's" house, especially for the 1st baby. My parents live in Pietermaritzburg, and because you cant fly after 34 weeks, I went a month before my daughter was born.
Hubby unfortunately did not make it in time for the birth. My water broke at about 3am, the first flight out of CT to Durban was at 6am, so he only reached PMB at about 9am. My daughter was born just before 8am! he also had to come back to CT after a week, and I stayed at my parents for 4 weeks after she was born, so he missed out on a lot of newborn bonding time!

So this time around I was adamant I was not going to PMB, and instead mum and or MIL can come to help with my daughter once the baby is here, and when she is a month old we will go visit for a week or two so the families can meet her, etc.
i want him to be there for the birth of one of his children! I just hope i dont go into labour on a day he flies to JHB (he travels to JHB once a week just for the day)!

aaw cute! make sure someone is taking lotsa pics. Even if you dont post them or show them to anyone, its always nice to look at years later!

Enjoy the nap! sleep for me too ok ;)

Oh wow why? Was he at least there for the birth?

Good and I hope that he felt small because yeah it’s not an insult but we don’t want to know how big we are! I was laughing the other day at the one girl at the office she said to me you look to pretty nothing in your face changed. Her nose is so big she looks abnormal and it’s also a boy.

I hope so otherwise I will just get a little heater as well.

Thank you, I got myself a nice little polka dot dress and I am ready for the shower.

Have and awesome weekend I am now going to SLEEP
