That is soo strange from your boss! is he one of those "woman should stay at home with their kids" kinda men?
Do you think he will make things difficult for you when you return? Has there been other woman in your department that have been pregnant?

Dont worry about him right now though, listen to your dr, you somehow need to keep your stress levels down.
Are you on leave next week or are you at the office?
and when do you start maternity leave?

Im good, bump is growing, and beginning to feel cramped esp if i eat too much!
Am getting tired of having my inlaws around!! and hubby says all his mum and i do is nag him (he is extremely lazy)!

Hi Maj – Oh I wish it was like that and my siblings. We do love each other and we stick together no matter what, but they are like 9 and 7 years older than me.

Work is ok, I just don’t know what to make off my bosses comment this morning. He said to me that when I come back from maternity leave I must look for another position in the company, so I asked why and he said that I don’t know where anything is and that I don’t do his filling…….. I didn’t even answer to that cause I know where all his stuff is (he is old and misplace stuff) and I have like 2 filling cupboards full of files and a list off everything in the cupboards. He is like this since he found out I was pregnant.

I feel very overwhelmed about everything. I just came back from the Dr and then he is on my case and I am stressing because this baby might come in 2015!

Don’t know if I should just look for another job while I am on maternity leave or what.

Yea, 5 kids will be waaay too expensive nowadays.
Theres 2 years between myself and my older brother, and 2 years between myself and my younger brother. So the 3 of us were quite close when growing up.
My 2 elder sisters are 7 & 8 years older than myself, but funny enough we are all quite close. Not the "i know what is happening in your life all the time", but rather my family are the first people I would turn to in a crisis, without a moment of hesitation! and when we are all together, its as if we are living in the same house again-except for the addition of spouses and kids!

Hows work? the office is getting quieter by the day. tomorrow we are down to 4 people!!

Oh wow that is a lot of girls.

I hope so but for now maybe in 20 years I will have babies but not anytime soon hahaha.

5 Kids that's a lot, in the day and age we wont be able to support 5 kids its way to expensive and with our President and the nice things he wants it will only get worse.

I think 3 is a good numbers of kids to have. But they have to be less then 3 years apart. We are 3 but we are very far apart and we are not really that close.

We have alot of girls in the family! This will be my parents 6th grand-daughter and they have 1 grandson. Funny enough my cousins seem to have alot of boys though!

As hard as it seems right now, you will forget the pains of pregnancy. My SIL has a 3 month old, and yesterday she was telling me that she has forgotten all about her pregnancy issues, the pain and discomfort and she wants to have another child (not anytime soon of course!)
In her last trimester, she was in and out of hospital with elevated heart rate, high bp, low iron that she needed a blood transfusion, she was swollen and put on bed rest for the better part of the last 2 months!
there are a few woman that "glow", but the majority quickly forget shortly after the baby is born!

I also come from a big family, my mum has had 5 kids, so for me 1 or 2 kids is too isolated, but im not crazy enough to want to have 5!!

It’s awesome when you go for a scan like that. To know all is good and your little one is healthy with all fingers and toes. The biggest worry for me was the cleft lip and they confirmed at 17 weeks everything is forming like it should.

Well at least you know, I can only imagine how disappointed you must be. Now you will have 2 beautiful little princess girlies and daddy’s little girls.

I take my hat off for any woman who is having a second and considering a 3rd. for me it’s one and done. It’s not a good experience for me and I don’t want to ever put myself through that again. No one warned me about the aches and pains that go with pregnancy. They all say aaawh it’s the best experience it’s so cool and it’s so this and that.

I am sure if people know and they start buying stuff your disappointment will go away.

It was not a good idea taking hubby along Im being mean actually.
It was really nice, he did the fetal assessment, and has a fantastic ultrasound machine. Showed us soo much detail, little hands, and feet, counted the bones in the fingers even!!

But hubby sat there the entire time, and kept asking, do you want to find out the sex, and I kept saying "no".

After the scan, he said he wants to have a chat to the dr, and as soon as he walked out I knew what baby we are having, just by looking at him!
He also confessed that he googled how to tell from the scan, and it was very clear!

We are having a GIRL!

He is a little disappointed as he really wanted a son. as he says we only having 2 kids. I am also a little sad about it, but I also think I would then be able to convince him that we should have a 3rd kid later on!
We haven't told anyone though, and I asked him not to tell his parents (who are visiting at the moment). I am not quite keen for the influx of pink right now.
He really wants to tell his parents, so they can start buying stuff!
