Mommys to be in SEPTEMBER 2010

Hey moomies

Hope you all had a super weekend.
MakaOzie I am so jelous...u lucky B....., I have been trying to
put the blue belt on but its gets sore and uncomfy so I take it
off. So wish I could have a flat tummy right now. I guess I will
have to exercise to get rid of it, not that lucky.

Tried the second bath yesterday but it didnt work, my baby is
very sensitive to change. I will just have to start a routine from
4weeks whereby her bath is at the same time everyday and her
feeds are more or less at the same time. Right now I am feeding
on demand and baths are when she is awake and I have energy
to give her a bath. Will just have to stop being lazy and get a
routine. Today she just didnt want to sleep even during the day,
she only slept from 8 to 8:30 then the longest stretch was from 13:00 till 17:00. I just hope this means I am getting sleep tonite.

All the best Sher, I guess we will chat once you are back. Really
sad that u wont be able to chat while on leave. I will PM u my number so we can chat on sms. I must say you are one strong lady to work right till the end.

this week is my last week - whoo hoo !!!!!!!!

i have worked right till the end, I am crazy

anyway, i have my second last check up this wed and the last on due date next week, if no baby yet, I will have to go in to be induced

i wont be able to to chat from this thursday, no moomie access or laptop at home ....pages to large to view from phone or type

so after this, I wont be on the site, sucks, but will let Kerry know when baby is born

Hi all! Sorry for being mia. Have been on maternity leave with limited internet access. Congrats to all of you who have had your little one's! Wonderful! I am going in on Wednesday for a c-sec. Princess has a big head and isnt engaging at all. Lots of love to all, will be joining you in the sleepless nites soon!

Makaozie, you are one lucky lady. Tummy back to normal and no stretch marks. I've just made peace with my tummy. Will attempt some toning once I get the go-ahead from my doc, but i don't think my tummy will ever be back to before pregnancy.

So, besides Sher and Ntoko, who must still have their babies? Hang in there ladies.

Ginah, let us know if the second bath makes any difference, please. I'm even thinking of bathing her at night andjust top and tail in the morning. We had bad nights for the last couple of nights. She struggles to fall asleep between 2 and 4 am. As for the BF, it is something I REALLY want to do this time around. But have to admit there were times I was tempted to go get formula. Decided today to start expressing a bit more and give her a bottle, just to give my nipples a little break.

How r da lo keepin u al? Sher, jus hang in der doll... Ntoko hasn't poppd yet n Dr said they'l hv 2 induce on Tues if baba is nt here by den. Gina, da 2nd bath works 4 me, lo only wakes twice @ nyt instead of evry 2hrs. Makaozi, im jeolous of ur tummy doll... Wil start tying mine. Take care.

Mama-m my lo also gets constipated frm tym 2 tym, its bcz iv stopped bf (my nipples we nt getting any better n she ddn lyk the breast millk either)
Bt I use milk of magnesia when dt happens. She also sleeps during the day n is up every 2 hrs @ nyt
I tied my tummy frm da 1st day I got discharged frm the hospital (3days afta c- setion) and nw its back 2 normal. The sticthes ddn hurt abit
I v got 7 more kgs to lose 2 get bek 2 m$y normal weight n thnk god I neva got any stretch marks during pregnancy

Sonay I also wanted to breastfeed exclusively but I was struggling
@ nite to decided to introduce on bottle a day.She still sleeps a
lot during the day though and is wide awake by 9:30. I think next
week I am going to introduce a second bath and see how it goes.
