Ja, looks like it is only the 3 of us.

Ginah, how's your baby's rash? Shani seems to have a permanent rash in her face. It's not bothering her though, but I will let the sister have a look when I take her for her jabs this week.

Kerry, glad the jabs went ok. Hubby on nightshift this week, but he said he will go with us to the clinic. Yes Ginah, it is ridiculous how much this cost private. I'm taking her to Stork's nest for the first 3, thereafter I will go to the local clinic.

I've been super quiet since Tuesday, but now I'm getting bored of being in the house the whole time. Think I should take my son for an ice-cream later, just to get out. But my CS site is feeling much better.

Shani has however started to posset/vomit after almost every feed. Yesterday was particularly bad,, we both smelled like sour milk at the end of the day. Not to mention what her clothes and burpcloth look like. I can't think of any reason why it is happening now all of a sudden. Any advise?

Sonay - my little weed's injections went well, she took em and had an evening of nggling, didnt scream or anything... i gave her a single dose of panado... and next day she slept it off for the whole day... She's 4.6 kg at her 6 and a half week mark... growing like a real weed... but im loving it. and the brest milk is clearly working well for her

oh the six week growth spurt was hell... two days and nights of hourly feeding... plus she ate so fast half of every feed came up.... sooo glad its over

oh it probably wasnt the curry.... sounds like the growth spurt. Kaelyns was early, yours too by the sound of it

Looks like its just me u and Kerry left on here.
Well I had a lovely weekend down in KZN. The only problem is
that Liwas heat rash got worse with the heat that side.

We are seeing gynae and paed tomorrow. Im hoping to immunise this week as well. I made an appointment at Dischem yday, but after seeing the prices Im going to cancel. There is no way I am going to pay R1200 for immunisaztion.So I will try 4ways Life or Casternhoff clinic, the netcare clinics were also very reasonable.

You know Sonay my inside stitches have also been feeling sore and I think its also the fact that I was driving after 2weeks and have been lifting heacy things in the last week. I think I will also relax a bit more and wont say anything to the DR coz now I know.

Where is everyone???? Babies keeping you busy?

Just a quick update. Went to my GP yesterday, have a upper respiratory infection, on antibiotics for it. He also checked out the soreness above my CS scar. He could not see anything externally, but because it was very sensitive, he phoned my gynae and asked him to see me immediately. Went to gynae, did a scan and internal, but everything is ok. Gynae thinks what might have happened is that I use my tummy muscles too much and that the internal stitches might just be irritating the surrounding muscles and that I am doing too much too soon. So no more stretching and even shopping trips for me for a while longer.

Must say, the pain tabs I got and making a concious effort not to use my tummy muscles since yesterday, I can already feel a difference. Hubby has now put me back on "do-as-little-as-possible". He even went out alone this morning to go do grocery shopping.

This is Murphy's Law. Everytime I finally manage to find our thread to update you all, this little madam wakes up. This time I managed to get her back to sleep, so let's hold thumbs she let me finish typing.

KerryA, strongs for tomorrow for K's injections. We're due next week and I'm already dreading it. Let us know how it went.

Ginah, 6 weeks for us this week, so I guess we should get ready for the "6 week growth spurt", although it feels like our girl is on a permanent spurt.

We had a couple of very bad night with her over the weekend, waking up every 2hrs or less and then struggling to go back to sleep. On Sat she was crying most of the time. The afternoon DH suggested it might be the curry I had the Friday that had an effect. On Sunday afternoon she was also a bit restless, but she slept much better last night. Oh, and I think the Bennet's colic mix is also working much better than the Sr Lilian Colicare. I now stopped giving her the Colicare.

AFM, I have the flu. Terrible with this hot weather and a 5yr and 5 week old to entertain. Thinking of going to my GP tomorrow since I'm getting some stabbing pains in my one breast and my CS site is bothering me a bit. In fact, the entire one side of my body feels a bit sore.

Hope you are all well. I am going down to KZn tomorrow so wont
be on until next week Tuesday when we come back. Liwa will be going for her 6weeks injections on Wednesday and to the Paed on thursday. Thought I should do it before paed just in case there are issues he can check them out.
