Kerry - Glad to hear your hubby's hand is fine.
We have a medibag for us and one for my son that we bought at baby city.
Thing is though that I think our one is so old, I should probably replace some of the stuff in there

Robyn C - I have that bowling ball feeling at work only and I find myself getting up really slowly to go walk round Yet when I am at home I don't have that heavy stiff feeling at all???? Strange.

Ginah - everyone else - where are you?

Hubbys hand is now 100% fine - see it was'more fright than anything else i think. if it had been just a few weeks later the scare may have seen him rushing me to hospital lol

So very very glad to hear i am not the only one with issues standing up! Hubby laughs at me coz every time i stand up i have to go to the loo... if i sit i can make a much longer time between visits, but if i stand i may as well stand in the loo coz every five minutes...

anyway its all worth it... going to see my little angel at 10...

Kerry - sorry to hear about DH's hand. It must've been scary!
Def a good idea about the first aid kit (we really don't have enough medication for the 2 of us, let alone a baby!)

It's quite funny - when I'm sitting down, my tummy feels fine and comfortable, but as soon as I get up, it feels like I've got a bowling ball under my top and it will just fall right out! he he , wouldn't that look funny - baby falling out when I stand up

Mags - it's so weird to think that in 2 or 3 months absolutely everything we've ever known will change completely!!

Yip, good advice to get a first Aid kit, you never know when something might happen! Glad all is ok, though.

I am still feeling good, just tired really and my tummy is starting to feel really "heavy" when I am lying in bed, like there is a big weight on it, which makes my back a bit sore.

Wow, only 3 months to go, which is exciting. All seems a little unreal still though! In 3 months we will actually have a baby living with us!

Had a wonderful weekend away, a real amazing treat. Great to make the most of the remaining time alone with DH

Might go to a football match on Friday, hopefully will have enough energy!

Oooh... i absolutely must tell you guys to get yourself a first aid kit with some burnshield in... landed in hot water yesterday and had to rush out and get some... so i thought i would share my little realisation that you really never never know what could happen

So yesterday was a public holiday and hubby and i went to bed a little late on tusday night because we wer snuggling on the couch in front of the anthracite heater and some rented movies.

Anyway it was a cold morning so we got up and went to the lounge to re-watch the movie i had pulled a pregnancy card on and fallen asleep through. I was sitting on the carpet pinning my baby room curtains and hubby thought he'd re-light the anthracite fire...

He did what you usually do, he poured the meths into a tray and put it in the fireplace to warm the chimney, got the lighter and as he lit it... "Bang". The fire was still hot from the previous night and the Meths evapourated and the Meths gas caught alight. our puppy fled screaming from the room, we thought she was on fire and sped after her screaming for her to stop... oh what a commotion!

She just got a fright, no harm at all. Hubby's hand on the the other hand was mildly burnt... That was me in tears... i just couldn't help it... normally once i had deduced everyone was okay and no harm was really done i would be laughing... but since i got pregnant...

Anyway, once the adrenaline was washed away we realised that hubby's hand was way sore and we didn't have anything... off we went to the chemist... So we bought bandages and a burnshield pack and then a "burn" first aid kit coz believe it or not there is nothing for burns in a regular kit.

So the lesson here is be prepared, hubby took the pain like a good boy, but imagine having to take a screaming child with you to the chemist to fetch something to soothe the pain?

Shame man, sorry to hear about your little baby that but i am very glad your baby is okay It's amazing what they can do with a little fore-warning given by the miraculous scans we get now days
