Wow Robyn, that's so exciting that you're getting baby room ready already. I keep wanting to but we first need to clear all the junk out of it - which we are doing but it's very slow going. DH spent sunday sanding down the desk (we are using an old desk as the changing/bathing station and an old chest of draws for baby's clothes). Shame it took him much longer than he thought and was much more difficult than he expected - now he is dreading the chest of draws! Then we must buy whitewash so he can paint them. We are not painting the walls cos we're renting and we're quite happy with teh colour - but we do need to get a curtain that matches the bedding etc. I also feel once the baby room actually starts looking like a baby room it'll all start to be more real.

Mine was really busy - spent Sat with friends and went to BabyCity with the lady who is doing my shower, just looking at everything and getting her advice (she has a 1yr girl) which was great (as I know nuh-theeeng)
Then Sun was spent painting the nursery with DH (he did the ceiling & top half of the walls while I did the bottom half and skirting) All I can say is owwww, sore back and sore knees
But at least we are putting up the border this evening and then having the carpets steam-cleaned tomorrow so we can finally put up the cot etc (only then will this actually be real for me!)
Can't wait!!!!

Im new to this forum as I was previously on Pampers and particularly the pregnancy after D&C thread!

Really cant believe that im 6 months already......as most of you hasn't the time just flown by?

I have my next G appointment on Friday and can't wait. Taking my son with for the first time, he is 10 and he is soooo excited to see his little brother on the screen! I am trying to involve him in as much as possible.

Seems like everyone missed each other this past weekend, you're all chatting away this morning.
I had a very busy Fri and Sat, so yesterday I was forced to rest. Most of the time was spent in bed, heaven. Little madam has decided that she's now gonna show who's the boss, kicking like mad. Her playtime seems to be between 3 and 4 in the morning. She is so busy that I cannot sleep, so I tend to be a tad bit tired in the morning.
Ginah, I only see my gynea every 4th week at this stage. And, I feel for you for that pubic bone pain. Mine started quite early already, dr told me to keep my legs together and avoid stairs as much as possible. But it is really sore, especially at night and not much we can do about it.
O, O, O, I finally booked my 4D scan!!!!! I can't wait for 5July. Will take big brother with. But it's still more than a month away.

Hope you had a good weekend. Mine was great. I am really feeling like a "normal person" now, very few symptoms. Also great to feel Princess kicking to remind me she is there!
My gynae also wants to see me every 3 weeks from now on (after 20 weeks) - I think that is normal for her. I am very happy to be on Momentum, who is paying for 12 antenatal visits.

No I havent had any problem except that at this appointment I picked up that babys growth has slowed down a bit. But I thought maybe its because he had a growth spurt earlier on.

I will PM Jacadebra and findout what happened with her coz she also went to the same doctor.
I will also ask him why I have to go every 3 weeks coz its a lot of money R450 cash each time.

Even with my first LG it was every 4 weeks until about 30weeks, then it was every 2 weeks.

The only other thing I noticed yesterday is my pubic bone has started getting sore esp. @ nite.
