Mommys to be in SEPTEMBER 2010

Ginah, I have to see my gynae every 5 weeks until 28 weeks (then i get an injection of Rhogram or something - I'm rhesus negative), then i see him every 4 weeks until 36 weeks, and then every 2 weeks until 38 weeks and then every week after that.

Every 3 weeks sounds a lot. HAve you had any problems so far with your pregnancy that he is concerned about? if not, then ask him why you need to go so often as they usually ask you to come every 4-6 weeks depending on the doctor.

Yep the expo was very tiring, thing is I have a 5yr old so I had to go so she could see Barney and the fimbles.

I have also decided to do UIF myself, why pay R300 when you can do it yourself. I need every cent as my company only pays 50% of my salary.
I also heard that its better to go in the afternoon as they are not as busy.

Baby Zakumi just kicked as I was reading the kicking part.Lira baby was probably sleeping thats why. You might have a sweet baby so dont worry. Lazy babies are very sweet.

Do any of you guys have to see your doc every 3weeks? My doc says I have to come every 3weeks from now on. What a lot of cash.

Eva M - Not good at all

Went to my GP on Saturday. Guess what? He tells me that i need to pay cash for the scan as he cant claim it from medical aid cause key care gives problems Im like why didn`t you tell me all this on my last appointment? He said he taught he did. Anyway he did the other tests and started feeling my tummy and measuring lo with his hand.

Then i said to him, sorry im not willing to pay R500 for the sonar + you still gonna claim on my MA, rather refer me to the gynae cause my MA cover some scan from the Gynae and i told him i want to se Dr Malebane(gynae @Lesedi Hosp). So he booked me in for this week, just need to confirm the day. Mcim. BD was so not impressed.
