Nelria..its so good to hear from you. Im so happy that everything is going so well and that Lea is being such a good big girl. Glad to hear that Xen is such a good baba You really sound happy

Simone sorry about your tough nights with Addy. I had a similar night on Friday

Vix glad the big bed is working out for you and C! I cant wait to get Keirans. Will proberly get it in Sept or Oct.

We had a lovely weekend, so nice and relaxing. Went to visit my gran on saturday, she looks okay, but can see she is trying to put on a brave face. Her kidneys havent improved and is leading to worse kidney failure She has been referred to a dietcian now, however the Doc has indicated that the heart problems are caused from prolonged high bllod pressure with no treatment

Keiran was so cute this weekend and said "trouble" after i had said to him you are in big trouble, lol, was really cute.

Mandy i can imagine how much you miss your family. I would go crazy not seeing my mom.

Vix glad things went better last night.

Zee you should write a book report. I have done one for moomie.

Mandy shame man about missing the family. I wish mine were in pe and not the uk.

Our electricity went out at 4 this morning. Luckily it came back on at 6 so I could do my hair and all but all the lights were out and it was dark and there was a huge storm. I have never been that scared on the road.

This is so weird I am expecting the bomb to drop any time but for now loving it

Xen is officially the easiest baby in the world (for now) he is still asleep btw anyhoe this is my day routine for now

-bath xen at 6.15 - lea and daddy watching
-lea gets in her bath 6.30 - daddy watches
-I massage and boob xen put him down awake and walk out (he drifts off by self)
-get lea's bottle and sit with her (daddy dresed and settled her) - asleep by 7.20(daddy gets monitor then)
-we eat, watch a program and in bed by 10
-xen drinks at 10 (sleeps in own cot), drinks 12.30, 4.30 still asleep and 8.30 now
lea wakes 5 - brett gets up
i get up 6.30 watch lea while brett showers he takes her to school
xen eats 4hourly sleeps for 3hrs straight and in awake time he is happy to lie and watch us or lie in own bed

so far he hasnt had cramps, hasnt needed help to sleep so I know after 3weeks their true colours show but in my mind he is an easy babe

Morning ladies,

Mandy- I am very strict with C and I rarely allow him out of his cot in the night but I stick to my origional plan, if it's just slight moaning he can keep on at it but when he is actually crying it's better to sit beside him and assure him I am there for him but he can't get up. I have on occasion left him to cry like that and a full hour later he is still hysterical, all that is teaching him is that I am noot there for him when he is sad. All these kids are different and some are definately more stubborn than others. Cv will not stop crying unless I s go in to him and tell him to stop. I h I must say, I was also concerned about how he could get up himself in the bed but he's waking once a night without a scream or cry, I feel so refreshed having good calm sleep for a change.

Sorry about spelling guys, again moomie didn't load properly so I am typing blind.

Ally- I'm sure your dad spoiled you to show how he appreciates how much you do! You are his little girl too!

Nelria- I'm so pleased you're doing well. I'm sure after a successful natural birth the first time a C-sec is really a horrible way to give birth. I didn't have trouble accepting C aswas my baby after the C-sec. But then I had necver experienced any other typew of birth.

You let me know if tuesday or thursday is best for you and what time and I'll come visit. I am so excited to see you and meet Xen.

I see Danny Jordaan is getting irate about the VuVuzellas now too. Some people have no respect for othjers and are blowing it during the national anthems, sorry but that is a definate no no in my opinion! There's a time and place for it.

I now haven't spoken to my father in abourt 9/10w,
not overly concerned I have to say, to be honest we don't have the best relationship. But I do want to speak to my lil sis (16) she is having a hard time at home, it seems her mother (the step witch ) is going out to the pub everynight regardless of money or family concerns. My dad asked her why does she have to go out every night, it's affecting him and the kids and she replied " I spent long enough bringing up your kids now it's time for me to enjoy my life" errrrrrr BITCH! Is my response to that but he's asking for it, that'll teach him to marry a woman 16 years his junior. Now he's mid 50's and she's not even 40 yet. She's probably shagging about, she did this when the kids were small and was caught out shagging a young guy in his 20's. If you ask me she needs her head re adjusted my my fist but she's lucky she lives 9000km away. My dad made his bed he must lay in it as far as I'm concerned but when it affects my siblings I wanrt to rip her head off. Then she still has the cheek to write all nicey nicey I love you messages on my FB. OK my vent over. Anyway, I think I'm going to set up a private FB account for me & Gem to chat on because her mother has passwords to every account she owns (paranoia of a cheat!) She even checks her phone calls and sms'.

O.k need to try and get this page loaded properly because it's irritating the crap out of me now.

Hope you are all doing well. Not much news here, but I’m sympathizing with the sleepless nights as I’m struggling too as always! Z just wants to be in our bed and wakes up a lot of times! Not nice at all.

My weekend was fine, it was just sooo cold and I see another cold front is heading our way … I hate the Gauteng winters – it is so dry and cold to the bone.

The soccer was good on Friday, the roads were just hectic, it took me two hours to get home. We’ve also got a lone vuvuzela blower in our street!

Ally, your prezzies sound fabulous! When is your bday exactly? The plans for my bday are coming along nicely although I still have zero interest in having one! I’m going for shades of purple for the décor.

Vix, congrats on the new words, C sounds so cute.

Oh yes, guys, I’m a teenager again, I actually read the Twilight saga – all 4 books and I loooooovveeeeeeeed it. I was so nice to not read serious literature for a change. Another great book that I’ve read recently is Shadows of the wind.

I can't imagine living in another town. I saw my sister last night...we had supper together. I spoke to her this morning around 9am. She came here just before 10am to drop off our car. I called her around lunch time again. She ended by saying....'i'll call u later'! So I said: why do we speak to each other 10 times a day...even when we see each other? She said her bf can't understand it either.lol.

My brother...i see at least 1ce a week..if not I'll call him.my mom I also speak everyday and see at least 1ce a week. So I really can't imagine being far away!

Ok so I spent some time with Addy. Read to her on our bed....then transferred her to cot and I read to her like that...initially not happy...but I kept reading and exaggerating everything so she was interested again. I managed to leave the room with her awake and she is asleep now I think! Hope she sleeps thru again though! If she needs rocking to sleep thru....then tomorrow night Gerard is on rocking duty!lol

guys I cannot hide the smallest burp and Addy looks at me and says...'pardon'....then I feel so embarrassed that she has caught me out!lol

So pleased to hear from you and congratulations again. I can relate to not feeling as if it is your baby after a c section. Odd feeling, but glad you are totally in love with him. He is precious.

Seems as if all of our kids are struggling again. Frustrating hey. Just when you think you had it all worked out.
