Hi all,
Ange- so pleased you had that lump removed, I hope it heals fast, can't be easy having surgery then going back to a demanding toddler.
I'm not anti world cup and to be honest I'm not completely anti VuVuzellas but there is a time and place for everything and I think people need to respect those who have babies asleep at 9.30pm! I'm exactly the same with fireworks in residential areas, it's not fair on the kids and animals who are all very scared/disturbed by these loud noises.
So C slept fairly well in his big bed last night. He woke at 1.30 but wasn't crying or shouting he just came to my room so I walked him back and laid him down in his bed and lay there with him for 2min until he was fast asleep. It was just nice not to fight with a screaming child in the middle of the night. He came back into us at 5.30 and I put him in our bed. He was sleepy but a huge aeroplane went over at 6am very low, it even shook the windows it was so loud so then he was awake. I'm pleased with how last night went and I said to DH, I'm just going to have to lay with him until he's 100% comfy with the idea of the new bed. It's way better than fighting and DH didn't even hear C because he wasn't screaming.
Simone- sorry about your bad night! Maybe she was just very uneasy after the Vuvu incident with the boy at the spar.
When C sees an advert for sport on the TV he throws his arms in the air and cheers, he sees all the spectators doing it so he copies LOl
