re: sleeping...u have to be strong with the cot. We used to have to sit with Addy...but i am talking months ago. Now...she has pillow under her arm, blanket and bottle...and she waits by her cot when she wants to sleep. We put her in and walk out.

The only thing i need to stop is the bottle drinking in her cot. She is beserk for her milk when she is tired!

We had to fight in the beginning...she went MAD when we left her in her cot to sleep...but it took persistence. Initially i tried to calm her over and over....pick her up, put her down, never leaving the room. Once she was comfortable in the cot....i'd pretend to sleep on the bed in the room. now...easy peasy, drop off and walk out....lol. She will once in a blue moon chat to herself and play a bit...but most times she is asleep in 5 minutes. If she plays...she still pulls the blanket on top of her before she falls asleep! lol.

But if you dont mind being 'manipulated' then dont change anything. Really i believe to each his own. If you dont mind rocking/co sleeping/own bed/cot, etc...and you are all happy...then by all means...continue!

how about a shopping guide - where to find things ( perhaps people can recommend good fish mongers, good wholesalers, good delis etc in their regions - I would love that! If you are not a foodie and you are doing a dinner for people, you never know where to get the stuff..

Julz i would recommended it BUT it does take longer than most meds but it helps build the bodys immunity naturally.

Ladies I will be of in the next 20mins so hope everyone has a wonderful evening. I am going to place Keiran in his cot tonight with his bottle and see what happens. He use to fall alsleep like that for a loooong time and then he fall sick and fall in the habit of falling asleep with me...

Shame Angie, I hope Cole is not sick and maybe just feeling a bit miserable or maybe he was overtired?

Angie i also don't mind lying with him because 90% of the time he takes about 15 min to fall asleep and then i put him in his cot and he usually stays there til early hours of the morning. But shoo sometimes it takes like an hour and then i tend to feel a bit frustrated.

Ladies I am really impressed with the homeopathic medicine. Keiran's noise is so clear now, no more snoring etc,from allergies. I am so happy i finally found something that works for him

I use the Natura brand and they come in various different things, I am using the noise coronex (i think) one, but you also get the some for flu, tonsillitis, immune system etc. Apparently Sister Lillians homeopathic meds also work wonderfully.

WRT nappies. I use the Huggies Gold only at night and when I know we are going OUT....So a jumbo pack lasts me just under 2 months and the for during the day I use the Huggies dry comfort. But I have used the dry comfort at night as well and I have no problems with it..

I have also changed to a size 5 as the 4 was getting too small.
