Lisha apparently there is no need to PUSH a baby out. If you completely relax the muscles will do it themselves and you won't tear etc.

That is what hypnobirthing is all about. complete relaxation which then prevents painful contractions and the baby just exits without mom pushing. Pushing contracts muscles and makes it more difficult.

Nelria- I'm going to send you an email in a bit, dead busy chasing C round the garden at the month but will sit down with a cup of tea and write an email soon! Simone- completely forgot to say Addy's beach photo's are great! She really wasn't impressed hey! Gorgeous though! I'm sure when summer comes and you can Beach more often she'll get used to it, especially when she sees how much fun the other kids are having!

Nelria sorry that you're not getting your first birthing option but as you say you got to do what's best for the little dude. You're very active person so I'm sure you'll recover very fast but just don't push yourself too much. xxxx I'm sure everything will go well.

Simone her water broke at 4:30 yesterday and she's been in hospital since I was also induced and labour wasn't too bad ... normal with no epidural ... inhaled some wonderful gas though Suppose Shrey was low enough to enable an easy delivery once I started dialating.

Vix thanks for clarifying what I thought lol. I told my collegue she was talking nonsense cos it's the mother's body and muscles pushing the baby out. Silly woman says in a dumbfounded way that she always thought the baby was pushing itself out too lol this is a mother of 2

My friend is apparently now in active labour but all this info is coming via her dad so not sure how accurate it is lol. He says they anticipate baby being here before 6 but we all know labour seldom goes as planned.

Nelria I am so sorry to hear that. I know you had your heart set on natural birth.......but unfortuntly these things happen, and the positive note is that you will be meeting your son soon. Relax for the remainder of today and tomorrow. (((hugs to you)).
