I think I'm going to get the Roti's from the Indian place down the road from me. They charge R4 for one which is a bit extreme but It's going to cost me R60 and then I have no fuss. And I'll get the Naan from Woolies. R17 for 2 so not too bad, I only need 10. I'm taking a lot of short cuts but I know Woolies' Naan isn't bad atleast.

Mandy I work near Greenacres...I think i know the place u are talking about. Thanks...i would never have thought about them!

Sorry about the car woes...but power to the tears of a woman...free labour!!! YAY!!

Vix...8w since u spoke to your dad?? Wow! Hope u caught up nicely.

Ladies i was so scared last night...my mom left with my cousin to CT with my cousin's 2 LG's (2 and 6). At around 7 they got stuck...engine caesed (sp)and they were stuck on dark road in middle of nowhere...5hrs from PE!!! My cousin has no insurance so no towing service. luckily she is SAP so called the police in the area and they got there after an hour or so.

Shame when i called i could hear the kids were not doing so well. I kept waiting for the call (from who???) saying they were killed or missing.

Thankfully they were helped by the police and they arranged towing. A friend from CT drove down to fix car and take them to CT and they got there at 6am this morning. If i were them i would just have come back home but anyways!

Havent had a chance to catch up yet....

I had my lunch, but boy am i still starving!

Ally we only ever warm on stove so not sure how it will be if you put it into the oven to reheat. You could easily just microwave but I think it dries it out a bit.

Lisha I thought I would make them all in the early afternoon, then wrap them in foil and just re-heat them in the oven. Don't you think that will also work? Re-heating them in a pan is going to be so much mission coz I'm going to be making quite a lot.

I saw a recipe online that looks simple enough. I'll make my own roti's but I'm going to buy naan from woolies.

Ally I will e-mail you a recipe but I've never tried it. Look at this one and then also google for one you find easy.
You definitely can make it earlier in the day, just store it in something that can be covered and first put a dishcloth in so as to keep it nice & soft. And I suggest you warm it up on the stove just before serving, much like how you would 'fry' it but just enough so that it heats up.
