Lisha did u say her waters broke yesterday 4:30am or this morning? Hope whichever way it goes....they will both be fine.

I have read alot that induction ends up in c-section...but my SIL was induced...doctor told her she would most probably have c-section as baby had no dropped...she wanted to try induction and had such an 'easy' birth from her story...Layla only engaged during labour and she was facing the wrong way initially...so she turned and engaged during labour.

She also had a quick labour...so it doesnt all turn out bad.,,there are some positive stories out there:-)

That is soooo terrible. That poor lady, my heart bleeds for her....

Oh Julz i just went to read her post now...and was really hoping he would be okay.

I have read though...that prem girls are alot stronger than boys? not sure how true that is...

My heart breaks for her. She seemed to be positive...ag man makes me want to cry....

Julz- (can only see in reply so presuming it was you) thanks for the update on Huggles. Very very sad but at 24w he would've had an enormous fight on his hands. The poor poor woman!

Lisha- definately not ignorance, yes it's the mum's body that does the pushing. Thing is yes her waters broke and the induction was to ripen and dilate the cervix but if baby is too hig then it probably wasn't ready to come yet. This is another reason that inductions when the body isn't ready don't work. Sadly she may well end up having an emergency C-sec because eventually the baby is going to go into distress. I was offered an induction but C wasn't even in my pelcic cavity never mind the birth canal and also would've ended up in an Emergency C-sec. Some babies only engage in the final stages of labour but they need to have 'dropped' at least into the pelic region.

Huggles baby boy Jarrod was born yesterday, but sadly didn't live very long after the birth. x

Simone she's a real cutie ... Shrey loves the sand but you ain't getting him near the water lol.

So my friends baby just isn't coming down ... she's fully dilated but baby still 6cm's too high. Lol one lady at work says because the mom used to eat and sit the baby is too lazy to push itself out ... Lol pardon my ignorance but isn't it the mom's body that does all the pushing???

Shame Nicole...the allergies are the pits...and seems K really suffers.
