VIX Glad doc appointment went well and you finally got to see your little heartbeat, it must of been amazing :)

Ally soooooooo coooool, I am in love with your party idea, wow, wow, wow!!!!!! so jealous i cant be there :( Really brilliant idea!

Julz i will be inviting some of the Kids from the creche to the party.

Nelria K is also a nightmare at cooking time, always wanting to touch the hot stove and sit and play by his mama, but so paranoid he will get burnt by mistake.

I haven't tried the naughty corner yet, but i get a suspicion that k will just find it funny

Vix, so happy everything is fine! Hehe maybe he thinks you know it's twins! heheh Just joking. He would've definitely said something if it was!

Zee, FINE! lol I was struggling so much to find a theme for both of them and my SIL had a Barney party last year so I didn't want to do a character this year. While I am in control of the parties I'll do what I want I've figured lol. So I'm having a Candy Land theme. A red and white party with a hint of lime green. I'm going to have a huge Candy buffet with loads of vases etc. with different sweets and the kids can make their own party packs. I've attached the photo of the cake I'm going to attempt baking. But I'm not going to do a wonky one as that's a bit ambitious I think. And it will obviously be red, white and green. :)

I guess we will have a party again as Dylan has so many sweet friends now. I think we will just take them to pops or somewhere where they can run riot. Still too young to do it at home. I shudder at the thought.

Mom of Dylan and Partner to Joerg. We live in the Beautiful Pringle Bay which is along the Whale coast, Cape.

Hi guys,

Baba' heart is beating nice and strong! She is approx 7w3d gestation so new EDD is 7th Jan. Gynae was not impressed with my rash so sent me straight to the GP. He said it sounds and looks like ticks but very small ones, but boy did he get a shock when I showed him the leg, I think he was expecting 5 bites but I swear there are at leasst 50 pimples on my knee and thigh alone. He felt all my glands and said it looks like just a rreaction to the tick bites and not tick bite fever, probably it was a nest of hatchlings and they didn't carry enough/any of the virus. He doesn't want to treat with antibiotics or anti inflamatories because of the baby so he has just given me a cortisone cream to use sparingly on the pimples and see how it goes. Luckily I have had tick bite fever before so if they did pass it on my body has probably already been fighting it off with the antibodies from last time.

Lelani- I will not bother sending a pic of the scan. There was nothing to see and I think to be honest you'd get a clearer idea if you looked at a cashew nut. Next time it should look like a baby. I shat myself at first though because there were 2 'lumps' the cashew shaped baby and a little round blob avout half the size of the cashew nut. At first I thought there were 2 babies but Dr didn't say anything. That extra blob was not there before with C, maybe it is the forming placenta? Should've asked really but didn't want to seem silly. If it's there next time I'll ask Dr.

Feeling very tired and I need to get on with my day. Will just have a cuppa tea first I think.

Nicole- wow that's a lot of food for a small boy! He is such a great eater hey!

Nelria- I understand those feelings so well, I am glad you can relax alone a little today. If you want me to come up and give you a hand with lea either before or especially after the birth let me know, I'm not far away. Maybe when Xen is here I should take lea for a night so you can get some rest, her & C will have a ball!

Lisha- glad you had a good time, just a shame Shrey didn't sleepp so nicely. Glad to be home though I'm sure.

I am so jealous of all the party preps & ideas lol ... will just have a teenie tiny party for Shrey this year and splurge next year again :(

Zee your food ideas sound so fab

Shrey also thinks a naughty corner is a joke :( Fortunately these days he's pretty well behaved, limited or no tantrums (touch wood) etc just also very ma-vas which frustrates me.
