Julz, my dietician used to say that I could rather drink coke than liqui fruit coz there's so much sugar in it. I try to buy 100% juice for the twins but I do sometimes buy liqui fruit, I just dilute it A LOT then. Like 50ml and 350ml water.

The twins are being so cute today. They don't know how to say Thank you yet but they say their own little words in the same tone of voice that I do. It's so cute. Abi loves saying BUM now so she says it over and over. lol

It would really depend on the size/volume of the order I guess - if its a 1 or 2 things (like makeup for example) I will pay for the postage but if its a larger order (like a set or 2 of Tupperware) then it will be regular registered post which is about R20 or R30 and takes about 2-4 days to get to you.

Ally sadly most don't know that fruit juice is also very high and just as much a no no. Still annoyed that spur offer the coke with kiddie meal.

Guys dh's cousin & his wife used to give their daughter coke in her bottle as a baby WTF were they thinking. This girl is now first year out of school and as long as I've known her she's been big & you can see it mostly on tummy and bum ... Poor child suffered due to parents stupidity ....

Jessica I love Tupperware too If you post stuff to us out of town people will you charge us postage and if so any idea how much?

Simone oh no Shrey won't be in bed with us forever lol can you imagine dh's dismay if he didn't get any action lol ... We will move him to own bed/cot in a while but own room only at maybe 3 or 4 YIKES!!! If we buy new place off plan I will insist on design including interleading door between our room and his then I won't feel so insecure about safety etc ...

Apparently Shrey is riding his tricycle at my moms and he is insisting that she must ride my nieces bike lol ... She sat on it and he starts to push her
Oh and the clever bugger knows that she makes him a different porridge usually (tastee wheat) so he refused to eat what he eats with mil & I ... she made the tastee wheat porridge after that and he gobbled it down ... told her she's spoiling him ...

I've never had a period since Iris was born, BUT I've been BF and been on Microval although I couldn't find my new Microval last week so haven't been taking them the past week... Naughty girl....

RE: pregnancy, weighed about 50kgs before picked up 7kg during and lost 1.5kg the week before I had Iris. The doc said it was normal and that was my bodies way of getting rid of unneeded fluids and its a sign that the birth is near. Well she was born 3 days later!
I never weighed myself afterwards but by 3mnts all my clothes was way too big so must've lost more than I picked up. I'm back to normal now as all my clothes fit again.

I also wouldn't get a nanny at home, Iris is at a day mother today and I've decided to leave her there until this afternoon to see how it goes. Shame my poor baby has never stayed with strangers for a whole day! But at least she didn't cry when I left this morning. If I get the job she will be going to the day mother at least until after the winter then we will look at a creshe.

Sorry for not replying to everyone but I gotta go now, got a lot of cleaning to do in the house today...

Simone, it's shocking to me when I see kids drinking coke. Yesterday on Great Expectations they had a dietician and she said that a 500ml coke contains 11tsp of Sugar...fanta is 12.5tsp!! Can you believe it? She asked if you would give your child 11tsp of sugar in her tea? Really shocking. I do agree that treats have a place in life but that's exactly what it is..a treat. Not a everyday thing.

Lisha...i really love the idea of co-sleeping...but like Nelria...i like my space...very light sleeper...and Addy is not a cuddler either i think??? lol. I think its gonna be hard to move him though...we are battling to move Addy out of our room...so i can imagine out of bed is gonna be tough! But take your time...my friend's lb is almost 3...she says he can sleep in bed with them til he is 20...cause she knows there'll be a time when they are too uncool to be with and he wont be her little boy!
