Oct/Nov 2008 mommies!

Mandy I was wondering if the family is upset with nanny.... I feel for her...if it was innocent and she really thought they were friendly...but on the other hand her stupid actions caused this...for the child..and i mean even she was seriously injured. its a bad situation.... I hope that child recovers her sight...so sad.

Pregnancy I put on 13kgs...lost 12kgs by 10 days post birth. Well...then i discovered rusks, choch chip cookies by cadbury and rooibos tea (to have more milk)...and well...I dont have to tell ya'll what happened after that! lol

Ally i think because we both have weight problems...we dont want that life for our girls. I dont mind if she weighs 90kgs...but if she is eating healthy...thats fine..but not as a result of us teaching her bad habits. And junk once in a while is not a bad thing....they are kids after all. We have this family in church...3 kids...all obese. they eat luxuries all day...at church when other kids are drinking water or juice...they each had 500ml coke! Now the girls are pre teens...very fashion conscious...but terribly overweight...

Jessica I am also a Tupperware nut...went to a fair once and spent R500 on tupperware...lol. Glad Bryce is doing so well;-)

Mandy...you are very right...we ALL make mistakes. Cynthia is very wary of people...she wont open for anybody. I doubt anybody would believe her if she said she didnt have a key? She does not have a key outside of working hours. Also there is a panic button right on the door frame in the event anybody tries anything or to force their way in. Nannies...day cares...all have pros and cons. I trust Cynthia 100%. Our back gate on the door is broken..it looks locked but it isnt...and she asks me when will be fixing the gate cause she is nervous about it being broken. So she is very saftey conscious.

Mandy i forgot at one point Addy is going: milk all done..... juice mama?? the cheek...lol..but too clever I agree!

hello lelani. Welcome back. Kids today are really overloaded with work. Zian it tall though so 15kg is fine.

oh my call me Daddy plan to get neil up at night has backfired. Dylan calls me Daddy. It is so embarrassing in the shops.

I keep staying 2 pages behind....you girls can really chat

all is well on my side
just so, so busy with packing, work & our new baby...were gonna get a puppy
need to introduce my kids to a small dog first, so were gonna get a jack russel & then later on when zian is a bit bigger get a nice big dog

so that means in a few weeks time, I'll be doing puppy classes & night shift duty....oh boy....what am I getting myself into????

chanel is so busy with school work, shame man...they are cramming all the work in because of this stupid soccer...grrrr...
sowee...not a very big fan of this whole soccer craze....my poor child has 2 assignments to do in 1 week!!!!

so i dont even have time at home to catch up

zian is growing so freakin quickly....o yes...simone....he weighs in at......15kg!!!!!
& he mostly has healthy snaks....but boy can he eat again....literally has like 3 bowls of food at night....one snaks...like cheese & viennas....one food & 1/2 fruit

starting so copy words more & more everyday.
still getting uber frustrated when mommy cant understand what he says, but luckily its getting better everyday
still calling daddy...mamma...lol

the people have moved out of the house completely now, so they can start with fixing things & if I'm lucky....we can move in about 3 weeks

Helen WHOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO im so so so so excited for you.. all looks great!

MC is Menstrual Cycle and MS is Morning Sickness and Mites - bed bites or little goggas which climed up Vix leg at the game reserve.. yukky little things!

Cam is never with a maid, but i wish we had one but we cant have full time creche and full time maid.. THe story of Marzannes Maid is that they were Mozambiqan guys who had done some buidling on site and who had made friends with the maid. THey came back and begged if they could come in to watch tv and so she let them in.. Im sure she was very sorry but it was too late. I think she should have a criminal case brought against her and thrown in jail!! But we all know that you need a little bit of help with kids and their is a risk everywhere.. Simones Cynthia sounds so so lovely and trustworthy but even she makes mistakes.. and things can go wrong while kiddies are in our care too! Its just a scarey world! My DH and I were debating how safe the nursery school is.. at our previous school there was a gaurd at the yard gate and he signed us in and out and then there was another security gate.. but at the new school, there is one security gate and a code that you have to punch in.. but they WILL NOT let someone else fetch your kid unless previously arranged. If someone else arrives and they dont know about it, they will call..

anyhoo.. we just have to be as vigilent as possible!
