Hi everyone
Thanks for all the advice re Z and her fists … When she smacks someone, I usually say: “No Ziani, say sorry” and then she also strokes the arm or whatever she hit. It is just embarrassing really when your child smacks the person standing behind you in the queue at Fruit & Veg … You should’ve seen the woman’s face!
Mandy, shame, man, I’m just glad Z isn’t the only one. I remember how anxious I was at the shower! Even at the Kindermusik I try to move in between her and other kids to avert disaster. Funny actually. In my pre-child life, I always thought children who smacks are horrible little brats and now that I’m the mother of a little aggressor, I feel totally different and like comments that it is perfectly normal
Nelria, hope you have a good gynae visit and that Boeta has turned.
Helen, good luck with the packing! I hate moving although I cannot wait to move into a bigger place myself. Hope you have a good visit tomorrow and I can’t imagine you looking fat!
Vix, glad you had a good time, you certainly deserved the break. Bad about the goggas though.
Simone, good luck with the studying! I often wonder why I’m still trying but we’ll just have to see it through. Good on Gerard for motivating you! Funny about Addy and the ant, I tried to teach Z how marvelous the little creatures are but then she visited my MIL and now she steps on insects shouting: “dood! dood!” LOL
Nicole, sorry that the weekend wasn’t so great! The gown sounds lovely though.
Christi, good to hear from you too, so sweet about Iris and the kisses!
Lisha, hope your Drakensberg visit is going to be awesome and that Shrey will love it too. How are things with the assistant?
All the baby talk makes me quite broody, but this weekend really made me wonder if I would be able to handle two children. We are trying but honestly, I often feel as if I’ve reached the end of my tether with Z. I adore her but sjoe, she can really be exhausting. Me-time is but a distant memory!
