Hi ladies,

Pfairy, after 12 some time... LOL
Sorry to hear about your friend.

Helen, good luck with the packing. I started with all the stuff we didn't use regularly and packed those and stacked the boxes in the spare room. Enjoy your scan tomorrow!

Vix, glad you enjoyed the weekend away. If you ever happen to be "visited" by some awful bugs try covering them in vaseline, it usually helps.

Nelria, good luck with the gynae. I remember our antenatal sister said there is some excersices one can do to turn the baby, so maybe you can look into that?

Zee, sorry to hear Ziani is sick again. RE Smacking, sorry don't have any advice but Iris went through a phase where she bit everyone :( luckily that has stopped now.

Morning ladies

Lisha glad Shreyan didnt have any major reaction to vaccination... Man you know I am SOO behind! Need to get Addy upto date!!!

Zee...dont stress about aggression. I agree with nelria...its all about expression. I find now that Addison can communicate better....she isnt that aggressive, though i did get a scratch on the forehead for no reason the other day. Also I tell her that she hurt me, made me eina and she must please make it better...then she will kiss where she hurt me and say 'sowy'. So make her aware she is hurting you, heck pretend to be crying if you must.... Once she can communicate better...and made conscious that she is not supposed to hurt others...it will be much better. BUT dont feel bad...its NORMAL! lol @ being a tree hugger though! You seem like such a sweetie pie;-) My SIL has this Love love love approach with her kids...i dont think she and her dh have every so much as had an argument or disagreement infront of family...so i doubt infront of kids. But their LG (will be 2 next month)...is so AGGRESSIVE! Forever hitting and shouting at Addy...hitting her 9yr old sister...or anybody for that matter. Tells her mom: Leave me! Leave lAYLA alone MUmmy! And on flip side...she speaks as well as a 4yr old...there is NOTHING that child cant say! (fasten Layla's hair. Layla also want to eat....so give Layla also!)...so no problem with expression...but for some reason this child just has big personality!

Zee good luck with paper due! I am writing Saturday...ARGH!!

Nelria good luck with appointment! Must be exciting these close to the end appointments!

Vix....oooh...mites/ticks sound NASTY! I probably would have cried and admitted mysefl into hospital!lol. But I dont do bush, insects, animals, etc....so that could be why your situation scares the crap out of me. I am glad though that u had a nice weekend (besides ticks and annoying gynae). Did C enjoy his weekend with your mom?

Julz I was told you only need to stop multi vits if it caused nausea...which it does for some ladies, but not all. but no medical reason not to take it.

Nicole sorry u didnt have a great weekend...always happens..u feel u need a holiday from your holiday.

Helen good luck for you scan etc tomorrow. Packing is horrid but exciting at the same time.

ladies my doc told me to stop taking mulitivits due to the vit B and the gelatine capsure which causes nausea.

Okay I read some posts:

Vix your weekend sounded divine, im so glad you and DH had a great time. Dam on the mites now, know how you felt as a while back we had bird mites...and man it was gross and disguisting!!. ( oh dh gifts sounds divine!! I plan on getting df the new ac-dc cd for Fathers Day as he is a huge fan :cheer: )

Nelria so cool on lea showing you the signs that she has pooped - so cute.

Zee K also smacks quite a bit, i just hold his hand an firmly say no and try to distract cause as soon as he gets a reaction he carries on hitting.

Mandy glad Cam is better!

Nelria cant wait to hear what gyne says! Good luck and enjoy! Oh and K also has a snotty noise and a bit of a cough AGAIN, just hope it doesnt get series.

Morning Mommies,

Vix - So glad you had a nice time, sounds exciting with all the game, just rubbish about the mites/ticks. Thanks for the tip on the vitamin B, typically I think my MS is starting to subside YAY WOHOO PARTY ON!!!!! Been feeling much better over the weekend so hopefully I'm at the end of it now. Will def keep it in mind though.

Nelria - enjoy your appointment, don't stress about Xen being breach its still early, my nephew only turned a couple of days before he was born, about 5 days after my SIL EDD.

Zee- Shame hope Z gets better soon. Not sure about the agression, maybe its frustration because she's not able to express herself yet? I honestly have no idea so I'm just guessing...

Julz - Glad Dylan likes the Teletubbies hehehe, haven't tried them with Oliver yet, he has enough to keep him happy for now.

AFM - Waiting to get the car back, really hope its sometime this week, its a mission having to ride with DH, Oliver loooooves being in the bakkie though, its one of those Hyundais so he sits really high and can see all around him but its lank uncomfortable for me sitting in the middle, not to mention climbing over his car seat to get in - not a gracious sight lol.

Have my 12 week appointment tomorrow, looking forward to it. I am already starting to show - at the moment I don't look pregnant I just look fat lol but I can already see I'm carrying very differently to how it was with Oliver, he was quite low and all in the back, this one is quite high and all out the front, I think I've only got a month before I'm gonna have to get the maternity clothes out :(

Realised I have to start packing now ready for the move, I hate packing, I keep thinking it's just going to get done by itself  Probably not a wise idea hey because if I don't start now then I'm going to end up in a panic to get everything done...

ooooooooooooooohhh Nelria... Good luck with your appointment today.. Will be thinking of you! How I LOVED those appointments to see the baba! Hoping Boeta is growing beautifully and can hang around in your tummy for a few more weeks !

Zee - sorry to hear that Ziani is aggressive at the moment. Try to keep in mind how frustrated she is at the moment with not being able to tell you what she wants although she is thinking it.. Cameron has also showed lots of aggression but when i asked the school how he is she says he is not so aggressive. When we took him to a playground on sunday, he smacked every child that was in his way and smacked every child who held toys that he wanted.. it felt like cam was the only one! I think distraction is good, but instead of shouting, I have found that telling him that the girl is sore and that he has to say sorry and be nice, then he strokes them to say sorry straight away...

My sister also says that they are at a VERY VERY frustrated age as they KNOW exactly what they want and are thinking it and just cant get the words out..

Also Cameron has suddently stopped having tantrums as he realises it hasnt got him anything he wants.

IT should help to know that its not coz your child wants to hurt people as she doesnt realise it hurts, its just expression! and you as parents havent done anything to cause it. She is just trying to be independant.. but for you.. I hope she settles really soon!
