lisha, we moved 1400km away from our families...that should say it all
no way in hell is anyone ever living with us!!! me & dh love our privacy...even a week with family drives us nuts...lol

speaking...zian is starting to copy us more & more everyday but no way in hell does he say the words correctly or will he repeat it...grrr So I always look like a silly mommy when I want him to say something

but to brag....last night I told him he must stop moaning coz I need to dress him or else he'll get cold...then he says "koud kry" all through dressing...
so this morning just after waking up I tried to dress him...offcourse moaning & crying....then he starts with "koud kry"
sounded like I was a cruel mommy, but also very cute

re cheating....almost did it once luckily dh caught me out before anything could ever happen.....If i just opened my mouth about how I was feeling I would have never reacted to the attention in the wrong way...
BUT....if dh ever does it I will still cut of his "you know what"....I'm a very jealous woman...no one else will have what is mine...hahahaha...evil laugh....

dh hasn't said anything, but I can see that his upset about zian waking up sopping wet...
this morning was prob the worst....pillow, sheet, blanket, matress & even his socks...grrrr

Wow Dylan isn't speaking that much but I don't really worry. He is only 17 months old. The alphabet can wait a while. lol Play is most important at this age and apparently tv (this is what I have read) delays speech and that talking to your child is by far the best way to encourage speech so 1 hour a day of telly is fine.

Angie brilliant joke. My mil died last year but she was okay. Didn't see her that much though.

Simone, it seems that Teletubbies is entertaining for mommies too then lol. G can put it on for both of you!

I was also reading online now and they say to teach the alphabet first but a lot of good comments about teaching alphabet early etc!

Simone I do understand that frustration in not wanting to do up someone elses house. It may still be okay to do the odd thing if you have a good lease or have an understanding of lower rental increases.

That is what my mom does with my brother. They keep the rent low but he does the maintenance on their flat in London.

Nicole we still get the meals and yes Dylan eats that food. I don't believe in giving him a different meal and we eat together as a family.

Carike what to you do that you are not getting a full salary. that must be so hard. Hope the building industry imporves.

Lisha these teletubbies are so flipping funny! Dipsy messed on his chair with tubby custard. So lala offered up her seat....then lala realises she has nowhere to sit....'nowhere to sit' became a very sad song lala decided to sing about her experience! Oh my word....i crack up everytime she sings it! And they're disgusted by this dirty chair that poor noo noo must come clean!I'm sure shreyan will come to love it as much as Addy does! We're watching again now...here's the scene I was just talking about....lol.

Lelani u are very right...while lying and pretending to be sleeping for an hour I thought to rather get those big charts with a theme...colours, alphabet, etc? So will finish colours and get the alphabet one. With words I figured just the basic words...apple, ball, etc...maybe read was the wrong word...more familiarising?lol

Julz my friend has a house, my age...she told me its not all its made out to be...if they could go back they'd have done things differently. I said we can live in this house forever...rent dirt cheap, huge house, great area...but there's so much that needs to be done in this house! That annoys me...cause we can't obviously remodel somebody else's house.lol.
