morning girls

Thanks for all your input and brett is on board so on monday is D-day for us I am so happy because the quitting not so hard for me but it is just annoying to quit while he is still smoking then we fight and i get angry and then i just get on stubborn boat and join him

so he now realised how much there is to gain so he has 4 days to prep then hopefully we can see it through :)

dr checked placenta and said its still fine and lea's never calcified even though I also smoked al the way through up to when my water broke - but she was early but u guys know these things are so hard

my suster's 2 boys came early too and both in ICU for 8 and 9 days and huge complications at birth she never smoked plus my mums said we all came at 38 wks - so yes the smoking is BAD!!!!!!!! I am so not justifying it but what can one do but take cards dealt to us :)

but just to let u know I am on board the quitting train :)

xxx

Helen, will be holding thumbs for you that it gets sorted asap! We are also having probs but its with the municipality because the previous owners acc is in arrears, so we have moved in and are paying occ rent for this month but we told them it needs to be sorted by end May cause we will not be paying occ rent for more than one month! He was not honest when we started the transaction and did not tell us about the arrears that needs to be sorted so we spoke to a lawyer and they advised us accordingly.

My gynae also told me that the scanner can get the weight wrong by 500g to either side.

Morning mommies,

Zee- no problem, will get onto them this weekend.

Christi- odd how Iris is suddenly Mavas, especially as at the meet she was the most independant there.

Julz- I'm feeling fine, no symptoms what so ever, would actually prefer MS to kick in so I know everything is fine. I'm sure I atleast had sore boobs by now last time.

C is in a terrible mood this morning doesn't know what he wants. Grrr I hate when he's like this, must be the teeth.

He's now got his wellies on and is trudging through the flower beds, he just loves to be outside.

Helen- that all sounds hectic with the house, these admin things take forever too. But then let's face it, most people who work in admin sit on chat groups all day like moomie LOL

Oliver sounds very cute.

I made my mum a little baskert type hamper with all goodies from England. It looks quite cute and only cost me R100, it's more a thoughtful pressie than costly. I'm sure she'll enjoy digging in on the night me & Elwyn head off for our night away.

Oh man, I am super excited, this is actually the first time me and Elwyn have been 'away' since April 2007 we never even had a honeymoon so this is going to be like a honeymoon for us! Full board! Man I don't even think we've been out to dinner alone since C was born.

lwasi that is so weird. When I was a kid age 26 was the age I wondered most about. I think because of the millenium etc but I wondered if I would be married or have kids. I never wanted kids at a young age nor did I want to marry young either. Well at 26 I ended a long term relationship with my fiance and it was the beginning or a wonderful adventure with Neil so bad followed by good.

Morning MOmmies. Had an good night with K. When we went to pick him up, i could see through the door and he was running around shouting acting like and areoplane again....so cute ;) . I made him a fish cake with rice and veggies and he ate it all, i was super impressed.

Vix i totally agree that smoking should be an absolute no-no during pregnancy and I will bow down to the individuals who do quit smoking as it is flipping hard. I was just saying that i was lucky to have no problems even though i took a stupid chance by continuing smoking. I agree that if the placenta does not look healthy, stopping smoking should be your first thing to do in order to help the situation!

Nelria how are you doing this morning?

Zee so glad to hear that Ziani is better!

I am taking K to the doc tomorrow as he has had a runny noise and a cough for nearly a week now and nothing seems to be working
