Morning ladies.

Nelria, good luck and I hope you guys can pull through. C is always trying to stop smoking and I know how hard it is!

Nicole, I'm not too worried about the dummies for now. I try to take it away during the day and only let them have it at nap times and at night but some days I don't even bother. From 2 I'll start to actively take it away.

Abi slept so much better last night. Thank goodness! I got 8 hours sleep so I'm definitely feeling better.

Although I am uber irritated right now. They are meant to be sleeping and they are both chatting away in their cots. Although I know I can't force them to sleep. I just hate it when they don't. Oh yes, we went back to 2 sleeps a day after that one day. The next day they just needed that morning nap so now we're back to 2 naps again.

Nelria good luck with the smoking...i am sure its hard but if both of u support each other....I know u can do it!!! Lol nobody ever wants to say I know my hubby will never cheat....but like u I do know....the man loves us way too much...been thru it in his own home and still disappointed in his dad...he'd never want that for Addy. She is his world. Plus at wedding....i am fattest chick, no make up, uniform outfit...and he turns to me and says: babes do u know u are the most beautiful woman in this room? what can I say to that?

Lwasi I agree....i feel like I'm 30 and I have accomplished so little. I know my husband and child are my best achievements....but I don't own a house...still doing honours....I wanted more for myself...but that being said...i am content with what I have even tho things didn't turn out as I imagined. Glad u are enjoying amu! Did he sleep over at his dad? good to see him still involved!

Helen the bond thing is such a schlep! One would think the seller would get all their ducks in a row first!

Lisha- I haven't even shown him the baby wees just yet. I chose not to even show him the willy but I found him yesterday with the baby's pants off saying 'willy willy willy' LOL

Nicole- I am torn with the dummy thing but ultimately I choose to let him have it until he gives it up which he will eventually. I can see how heartsore he gets when I refuse to give him his dummy. He still needs it for comfort. I always tell him to take the dummy out if he wants to speak otherwise I ignore him. There will come a time when he'll give it up. I don't stress anymore. Everywhere I go people tell me I'm bad for letting him have it at his age but these people forget he's only 18m he's still a baby really!

Ok...Vix I definitely remember the stress with C! We were all so worried. Luckily your boy was a healthy weight and no complications.

Re: smoking...i smoked for years...swore I'd stop before I got married...stopped about 4 months after I got married. Funny enough took it up socially in january 2008...Found out I was pregnant in feb and didn't touch a cigarette again. Luckily I always found it easy to quit. Now I'm the worst non smoker u'll ever meet....lol.

Nicole...great k eating so well! has K ever been on celestamine? Its so great to dry up that nose! I got from Paed and Addy's nose was so wet...but so worth it to have them dry and snot free in like 3 days! Pricey though.

We had an okay night. Shrey woke at 8:30 but went back to sleep shortly afterwards till 5 this morning Unfortunately we had huge crying again at drop off with mil but he was hapilly kicking his ball around when I called now

Nelria well done on the smoking decision and good luck to both you & Brett on giving up smoking. I agree though sometimes these things just happen but rather be safe ....

Helen we had the same problem recently when we were buying a flat. The price we paid wasn't sufficient to cover previous owners bond and Nedbank were being terribly difficult. Really hope yours gets sorted out sooner. Dh works for Nedbank but I always tell him I will never deal with them cos they are so much more difficult than other banks.
