Ally this is also a typical parent thing. We tend to think for our lo. Most kids hate car seats but that is just tough. Dylan screamed for 3 months solid in his seat.

I agree with nelria. We often have ideas but then when research shows your idea to be dangerous then you can't possibly stick to your guns. You have to change your attitude.

Nelria, Dylan is sadly in the front in the landy 90 as there are no back seats in our. The lr as you know doesn't come with airbags and we only collect him in that car otherwise we use mine for trips.

Yeah the thing is that she says Mienke is so uncomfy in the seat. Now I think the seat they got is one of those that 'says' newborn-3 years or whatever but it's so not suitable for a newborn. We also got those and thank goodness we could borrow 2 newborn ones. So maybe if she sees this one she'll use it. I can only suggest it to her, if she doesn't want to use it that's her prerogative. At least I know then that I did mention something.

Ally - some people just do things without really realising the consequence - all they need is a bit of a shocker and that wakes them up - and I dont believe people have the right to get offended if they learn new info that will help them

My boet came in the other day took my car keys and went to lok at my car seat he then said nope its not stable enough as its an elevated metal frame one - he just came from accident where the whole car was smashed and the mum thrown from car the babe stayed attached and was fine - due to the seat strapped properly - so i immediatly took my other seat with base out and he checked it with me :)

Julz - I always tell people to get them of front seat asap or atleast disable airbags and u will be surprised how many mums dont know the airbag can squash a kid :(

I just sent her a msg saying she can borrow our newborn seat I still have. I said that I hope she doesn't think I'm funny but it's not safe like that.
