Simone glad Addy slept better last night. Wonder why she still wanted to be carried to fall asleep.
Mil sort of slipped up last week and said she still puts on music for Shrey to fall asleep and she carries him and walks around. So strange because at home he will not fall asleep unless he's on the bed. She did say he wanted to go to the bed that day so confusion on my side ....

Hahaha Nicole got to love that ... 'No keiran a boy.

If we call Shrey a baby he says no he's a boy. The other day dh told him that only babies use bum cream and diapers and he says no big boys use bum cream

Simone I am with you re these kids doing brilliantly!!!
And I am also in awe with Oliver and his puzzles. Shrey has mastered those ones with the shapes in a particular theme that slot into certain places but not regular jigsaw puzzles.

Guys we are all so blessed to have healthy kids.
Was chatting to mil about the 2 sick little girls that Shrey plays with and it's just left me feeling so down today. Imagine being between 2 & a half and 3 and having a chronic kidney problem and having blood tests every fortnight or month or being diabetic and needing insulin injections 3 times a day not to mention the sugar tests before the injections.
Their tiny little bodies are going through so much more than it should

All the kids are doing brilliantly! I'm still also in awe of Oliver's puzzle skills!

The dressing issues continue! Man do we battle with Addison. She's not well...coughing at night...do you think she wants warm pj's??? it has to be satin princess barbie nightie! Luckily she fell asleep in tracksuit last night so we left her like that as it was very cold. woke up at 6:30am...in the dark pulled out a sleeveless Hello Kitty dress from her drawers and told us: I wear this with NO top under!

EISH!!!

Then I was getting dressed and she put Hello Kitty down and says to me: I want to dress like you mummy! AWWWWWWWW THAT WAS SO FREAKIN SWEET:-)

Wow Simone Addy knows alot, K knows part of the alphabet, does very well with colours, and can see on a pic what a number 1,2,3,4,5 looks like. He can count up to 12 (on a good day lol), he sings his nusery rhythms very well, He also knows what an A, B looks like when i write it down and can draw a circle and a funny looking triangle and then tells me what it is.

Oh gosh...forgot the interview. Was 50/50. Wasnt dreadful, but wasnt great either. And then they told me that they were concerned that this job would not be challenging enough for me and to be honest I'm the first person they said it to that they've interviewed for this position. SOOOOOO that says....um dont hold your breath missy!!

Okay so the anger has subsided and I'm erady to start AGAIN:(

Any idea why a bad night with K? lol @ the snake!! last week Addison went to the backyard on her own and upon wanting to re-enter the house she saw a dead snail...apparently she screamed blue murder, frozen to the spot she was standing on: CYNTHIA HELP ME! I'M STUCK! HELP ME! lmao!! her mama's child that one!

Mandy thanks for posting info on the teaching as I always wonder if I'm doing okay with Addison. She can count objects only upto about 10 though...lol. Sorry to disappoint. She can then count numbers until 20. I do write her name all the time and she recognises it and says: there's my name mummy! It's ADDISON! or she'll ask me to write it. Colouring within the line though...not something we really practice with her...I've been very slack lately.

She also knows all the letters of the alphabet and a corresponding word to the letter. She recognises numbers in public. I do worry that she is understimulated...I think she could have known alot more had she been in the 'schooling' enviroment...G and I keep saying we need to make a plan to spend more quality time with her or I need to get Cythia some new material.

Tuesday night she nearly drove me mad though...madam woke up 2, 3, 4 or 5 times...I lost count. Demanding her father STAND UP and walk her to sleep! Why I dont know????? Which he did, but she would keep waking, crying hysterically demanding he stand up. I shouted at her and she shouted back and eventually fell asleep for good. I cried when i had to get up cause I was so tired, but G ALWAYS lets me sleep in so I felt like I'd let him sleep in, even though i was hoping he'd say: No Simone you sleep!! lol. But he slept through any hints I was giving off! So I felt sorry for myself and cried for having such a rotten night....worried about how I'll cope with a newborn!!!! YIKES!!! Luckily last night was back to normal and she slept well.
